We took our niece here on Sunday and it's really changed over the years. It now has a great park area for the kids, we did have the weather for it but a great place to bring the kids for a few hours , loads to keep them occupied.

I live 5 minutes from Castle Park & never visited until yesterday. We took our 2 children with us & spent the whole day there, it was lovely. They have 2 parks, one for younger children, one for older children, we spent a lot of time at the younger childrens one, our children loved it there, they even have sand... More

I visited Castle Park with my daughter, my elderly parents and we always take the dog with us. This was perfect for what we wanted today. My father's mobility is very limited now and he is very self conscious of this, but he likes to go out and try and have a drink somewhere that's not terribly busy. We are... More

The park itself is very nice, there are two different playgrounds, one for older children and one for younger - both of which are very good. However this is about the limit to the park, it's not the type of the park you could spend the day (or even the afternoon) in. If you live close by it is definitely... More

A lovely park for all the family. Great play area for the children and pleasant walks around the grounds. Tennis courts and bowling greens are available with lovely gardens. Good parking area.

I visited with my 7 year old daughter and her friend yesterday. We had been once before in the winter time and enjoyed the park so this was our second visit. Despite the changeable weather we had a lovely day. The two girls played in both playgrounds and also enjoyed exploring and climbing trees. Both playgrounds have some seating for... More

Since the park was re landscaped it is so much better. Lovely play areas for kids and older kids, including a zip wire! The garden areas are beautiful and the wooded areas make it feel very natural. The cafe is a great place to relax and watch the kids play whilst enjoying a fantastic cup of coffee or a snack.

A nice park with some interesting trees which are labelled. Good for walking the dog and lots of squirrels.

The park is perfect, apart from the squirrels getting too familiar , biting the kids & stealing ice cream.
