What a little gem in the middle of nowhere! Would have loved my daughters to get married there, but alas, a bit far from Jhb

A beautiful old, stone church built by the 1820 British Settlers. It was opened on 1 January 1838 and is the oldest unaltered Anglican Church in South Africa. This historic church served a dual purpose as the fort to protect the 1820 settler villagers of Bathurst during the border wars. It is steeped in hisory with ancient graves and a quirky piece of Queen Elizabeth's Coronation carpet
