It has an impressive history, a lot of legends, fame and it's one of top larges castles of Europe. You can visit most of the areas. Inside the castle is charmed, you can feel like going back in time in the fifteenth century. The castle is particularly likely among the few in the country that rises to the level of... More

You must visit this Castle if you travel near Hunedoara. There is so much things to see inside. It takes about an hour to see it entirely.

This is one big castle, but once you are inside you see that it has not that much to offer. And that can't be the castle's fault, it's the people that are not able to manage such a priceless posesion.

Great castle, some parts under reconstruction but does not hinder the experience of this grand castle. Of my two weeks in Romania, this was definitely a highlight of the trip. It is definitely worth it to go out of your way to see this castle. You can get some really great photos in front of the castle. This destination won't... More

The castle is under re-construction. Not all the places inside are accessible to visitors now. Inside the walls you'll find some interesting facts. The torture rooms were a little creepy. In front of the castle you can take some beautiful photos. The castle is a must visit if in the area, just go and soak in the atmosphere.

Visiting this castle on the first morning of our journey around Transylvania really set the bar quite high. Little did we realise it would end up being our favourite site out of all the places we visited. Corvinus Castle is big, very big, and stands impressively over a small running stream, straddling a valley, on the edge of what must... More

Huniad Castel also called Corvinus Castle is one of the most beautiful castles I have ever seen. Even though its is located in the city of Hunedoara, it preserves its historical beauty and it remains unaltered by its urban surroundings. The constructions is of impressive sizes and it is remarkably beautiful due to its complex architechture and very long wooden... More

The castle has been under re-construction since 1-2 years. Not all the places inside are accesible to visitors now.It looks kind of empty and cold place, but is hides interesting facts between its walls. The torture rooms were creepy for me.
