We visited on a lovely sunny day & it looked stunning. 30lei per adult & 5lei to take pictures so it was not expensive. It feels like you can go in virtually every room in the castle & explore ever staircase & tower. Some boards up telling you what you are seeing but we started to doubt them when the... More

We arrive there a bit late, around 6:30 pm, but fortunately it was still open and it was written that its open until 8pm. In anyway... the Corvin Castle has a very special and nice architecture, you will enjoy even if you are just looking at it from the outside. it feels like some kind of Hogwarts. From the inside... It's a very nice castle located in the heart of Transylvania. It was built in the 15th century and belonged to Hunyady Janos who was the father of King Matthias of Hungary. It's great to explore the old rooms, corridors and many bastions. You can also take many beautiful pictures there. Worth visiting.

It is a very beautiful castle, which was kept pretty well over the years. Order benefits from Hunedoara Castle officiating sword fighting, dancing and even archery demonstrations.

I have been to an extraordinary event, with international participation, which took place this year, between the 1st and 3rd of May 2015 in Hunedoara, Romania, at the Corvin’s Castle: The first edition of the European Castles Fair. Its goal is the promotion of the beauty of the historical monuments, offering a real journey around Europe, more or less known.... More

I visited the castle while a medieval festival was taking place. Beautiful rooms and impressive architecture. The castle is keeping it's old feeling. It has thematic rooms: torture room, wine room, young ladies room, chapel, etc. A must to visit

The castle is great. When we visited it a part form it was in repair but you could visit it. Too bad that the collections are poor.

We arrived in the morning to visit the castle ,parking was empty and very expensive ,we paid as we did not want to have trouble by parking all over outside,as most of the people did! Castle looks great from outside,we paid 25 lei which is a lot for Romania but for this amount we just got the right to enter... More

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad experience at all, and it is definitely worth visiting because it's amazing to look at, but the way it is administered is beyond me. For starters the roads in Hunedoara county are generally a disaster, and then there is the parking zone for the castle which has a weird rule of having... More
