The only thing worth seeing in Hunedoara, is the castle. Corvin's Castle is grand in every way, and would not look out of place as Dracula's residence. The drawbridge and pointed defence towers are the eye catching structures you'll notice as soon as you enter the car park, also with stunning surroundings. 25 Leu is entrance for each person. Whilst... More

I really loved the castle, maybe more than the Bran Castle. The castle is well restored and there are plenty of rooms to see. They even have a torture room. When we visited it in May 2014, there were lots of tourists around there. It's like you go back in time.

This castle is worth the detour. Probably one of the best preserved 14th century fortress in Romania.

Very nice castel, a lot of rooms, well restored. Review not excelent because 1/3 of them were closed when we visited. An audio guide is recommended to know the history of the place.

Excellent example of medieval architecture, beautifully preserved and restored. We loved it. Recommend to get a guide so that you can get info on all the history of the castle.

This castle was amazing and definitely worth the drive. There were not a lot of tourists when we visited in April, just some Romanian school kids. I have been to more than 100 castles in Europe and this is my favorite one so far. The exterior is so creepy and it looks like a castle you would see in a... More

This is a little bit of a drive (we took a small detour on the way from Timisoara to Sibiu), but it was definitely worth the effort. There are several different rooms to explore, and the history is fascinating! This place is loaded with ambiance and great architecture. And, if you are really lucky, you might see a bride having...
