great beach to start from, sea kayaks can be hired really cheaply and safely to try ( harder than it looks to stay straight!), or sit and enjoy the views. if you walk along the coast path just 5 -1o mins around the headland is an even better sandy beach that was deserted when we went, even though it was... We often go to Brittany on the ferry from Plymouth. We found this little coastal community one day when we were using the northern route back from Morlaix to Ste Paul-de-Leon and on to Roscoff.
