Tom was an excellent guide - very friendly and informative. His experience was evident. The zodiac was quite fun, but might not be the best option for those who get motion sickness. I was feeling pretty nauseous while we were floating watching the whales as the boat moves A LOT. We saw a few humpback whales, lots of seals and... More

saw Bluenose II sailing. Everything about Lunenberg memorable. Fisherman's museum restaurant very nice as was St. Andrews Anglican church. Harborfront building colors unforgettable.

We really had a great time with Tom. Saw two whales, many seals, dolphins and puffins. Whales were incredibly close to the boat! The foggy weather added a magic atmosphere to our ride. Last but not least the zodiac ride was "better than a rollercoaster" according to our 8 year old daughter.

The zodiac ride alone was worth the cost, but Captain Tom's knowledge and patience was also exceptional. We saw 3 species of whales as well as seals and seabirds, spent a great deal of time watching them, and with the zodiac were able to get up close to the animals quite quickly. The kids were thrilled. What an experience!

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The Zodiak ride was terrific. The expression on my 7 year old daughter's face during the trip was priceless. She enjoyed it more than rollercoasters. A zodiak is definitely the way to go as you are trying to chase down whales. They weren't as plentiful as all of the local ads would have... More

Thanks for your review. Be it "climate change" (results) or normal fluctuations/irregularity - we had hard late winters the last two years. This has resulted in far fewer whales arriving early season. Normally late June, early July there are numerous big whales around. ... So fewer whales has resulted in many trips having to go far to see the few... More

The first hour was a full throttle flying over the waves trip. first half hour of that was awesome, last half hour i was thinking about jumping overboard. But never did I feel unsafe, Couldnt ask for a better Captain, and we saw a mother humpback and her calf which made the trip so worth it, on the way back... More

We booked on the spur of the moment. We were aware that that it was early in the year for whale watching and that they were just beginning to arrive in the Bay of Fundy. Tom did not make any promises. He thought we should see some Minkies. We thought we would be disappointed when after an hour we has... More

Our family of four went on the zodiac in August. We were warmly greeted and, having arrived early, given ideas for island fun. The zodiac trip was exhilarating on the way out and absolutely magical as we tracked a pair of humpback whales. When they disappeared below the surface we waited to hear the spout when they returned and headed... More

We took a zodiac tour as 2 families: 4 adults, 1 teen, 2 tweens, and three 8 year olds. None of the kids had ever been whale watching before so this was all new to them. They were very excited to see whales, seals, porpoises, and sea birds. Our guide, Captain Tom, was excellent. Very personable and very knowledgeable. We... More

Thanks for this experience, we saw the whales very close, and we had a very safe feeling. This trip was exciting and successful- there were 4 humpback whales including a child whale! Zodiac and captain Tom is the best.
