It is true that the zodiac trip is worth the trip cost alone. The trip delivered as advertised. We saw some whales, seals and dolphins. Tom was a gracious host and runs a professional operation. If you want to see a lot of smaller whales, make a long drive to Cape Breton. But if the big ones are the ones... More

Tom's personality, experience and service all made this tour much more memorable. We had an amazing experience whale watching in these waters. We saw a large number of whales on this day. It is amazing to see them in their natural habitat. A must do tour on a Nova Scotia holiday.

Zodiac is amazing. I think it's the best option because you can get so close and personal to those amazing gentle giants in the ocean :) We got extremely lucky on our tour. A humpback came within an arms reach away from our boat, so tom shut off the engine and let the whale check is out. He was a... More

On the day of our booked tour the weather was questionable, so when we arrived at the office Tom informed us that there would be a 1-2 hour delay. As well, he was very honest and indicated that there was a pretty good chance we would not see any whales as there had not been many recent sightings, and told... More

We didn't see any whales. Everybody says go in July or August. We went in June. The ride was wet and wild. They hook you up with these cool suits. The building they're housed in is gross. Wonder if it should be condemned. Going to the bathroom was an adventure in itself. That was the scariest part of the adventure.

We were one of the first tours of the season and Tom told us we would have a 50/50 chance of seeing a whale. It was a 3 1/2 hour tour and on the way Tom gave us a lot of information on whales and answered our questions. We ended up seeing a whale and it was thrilling! This is... More

We have gone whale watching with Ocean Explorations many times over the years and have never been disappointed! The drive there is great at any time of year. The ferry is quick and inexpensive. The trips out in the zodiac are fun (can be a bit bumpy, but that's part of the thrill for us!) Tom and his guides are... More

Fantastic. Humpbacks up close and personal!! WOW!! A must do when in Nova Scotia. Tom was very knowledgeable and friendly. Zodiac ride was so cool and got us to the whales very quickly. Experience I will never forget.
