Never imagined to go surfing this summer, but thanks to Amila Im done with one of those things in my bucket list. Priyal is an awsome coach..he'll tolerate you no matter how many times you fall off that board..he would tell you where you went wrong, and ultimately for just one moment you would be on that board just gliding... This quite simply was an incredible trip - a real experience, packed full of culture. If you want to experience surfing local style, away from the tourists who are apt to destroy all peace and serenity, then this is the place to come. Arriving off season, at the end of the July, I might not have experienced the best surf... More

Our surf trip to Mirrisa / Weligama was by far the best we have ever had. The locals are friendly and polite and the facilities are rustique and just the way we wanted it to be. We had a real taste of the tropical paradise that it is. I recomend this highly to any one looking for an amazing surfing... More

There are many reasons to recommend this camp and one big one against it. The camp is a nice and cosy place to stay for any surfer who wants to experience the surf of the southcoast of Sri Lanka abroad from the touristic part. The package I booked included bed and breakfast, a surf spot guide, boards and an airport... More

Stayed here for 7 weeks (!) and had a really great time. Good food, great host and nice people. For me the best place on the south west beyond the well-trodden paths. Perfect to get in contact with the pristine locals. The surf spot is right arround the corner and just a few minutes away you will find nice places... More

Learning to surf through Shaka sign surf with the help of surf trainer Priyal was great. Priyal takes you to different surf spots depending on how good of a surfer you are and what you want to see. Priyal is extremely flexible, which means that if you want to surf in the morning he’ll be up when sun rises or... More

As a beginner I have to say the surfcamp was excellent in terms of surf's spots and accomodation. Price is excellent also if you're on budget holidays. The accomodation in our case was a little bit far from surf spots but there is an excellent service with tuk tuk that brought us from the guest house to Weligama e Mitigame... More

Surfing with Priyal in his rather secluded spot was probably the most fun that I've had outdoors throughout of 2011. While the surfing itself was, at times, most grueling but the result, actually standing up on the board and riding wave after wave was quite fun! Fun enough to want to go through the hard part of getting to the... More
