If need a place to rest and clear clutter on your head, this is the place. Located in the outskirts of the town. It is a complete business resort, where you can shop, play and rest.

On my recent trip to Calabar, I went to Tinapa with a mind to show off the complex to two of my colleagues who had never been there before. It was in a bad condition and literarily abandoned. The landscape wasn't even being maintained with a lot of weeds and very tall grass. There were several empty shops. At 11... More

White elephant created by the Cross River State Govt. It was planned to be a huge out of town shopping mall with entertainment parks based on USA examples. It was also planned to be a freeport on the scale of Dubai. unfortunately it fell flat and there are very few retail outlets, most of the space has just not been... More

Spacious and airy shopping experience with good variety of clothes, etc at very good prices. Very pleasant environment. A variety of outlets and shops were in the process of being opened. Huge swimming pools - nice place to hang out with family and friends. Need better transport connections as seem to be a bit out of the way. Nice day... More

The atmosphere at Tinapa waterpark is vibrant and even though it is usually quite busy, everyone is clearly having fun and this makes for a really good day out. Join in a game of beach volley ball, have diving competitions with complete strangers or just glide along in the lazy river. Some issues with indiscipline on the slides as this... More

I will rather say, this is the best Leisure and tourism location in Nigeria. It’s about 15 minutes from the City of Calabar, which makes it the best for a meeting and preferred event destination. It is also the best and most peaceful destination in the Country of Nigeria. One can walk on the streets without fear of attack. The... More

This is a so called mall, well built, but in the middle of the bush, without electricity most of the time ( except X-mas) and a few shops and banks ( many, this is Nigeria!) not worthwile the ride. It seems to be a real White Elephant

Great pool. lots of space to change, really quiet on weekdays, so worth it if you are learning to swim...everything is there, good changing rooms, a lazy river, slides, rides, helpful staff....it was great fun and well worth the entry fee of N1,000 (about 7.5 dollars)!

It turned out as diverse as rhe interests of my friend and i were, we all found something we loved in Calabar. Calabar's well paved roads which make the city totally accessible, contrasted sharply with the ever busy Lagos roads and gave a "hell"of a skating and biking experience. I particularly enjoyed the marina resort and tinapa warter parks. what... More
