With only Smokey's on the Cove and a dock at one end, the rest of the beach is wild and deserted. Have lunch and Smokey's and enjoy a nice swim and/or stroll. It's usually pretty well protected so the swimming can be very nice and the beach isn't as steep as the north side making it a nice place to... More

First of all, let me state that I have been to Anguilla several times and have found it to be a beautiful island. But Cove Bay was knee deep in nasty smelling, mucky sea weed this past October. Boat ride to Shoal Bay was beautiful around the island of St. Martin. Crew was great and accomodating, music dancing, limbo and fun etc. The bus ride to Shoal Bay beach was horrible and the streets looked like slums with every house unfinished.Shoal Bay was pretty but the lunch in the restaurant was cafeteria syle and the woman in the... Great beach and sand like baby powder. Nice little beach restaurant. Sunny skies and you can see surrounding islands. Quiet.

We started our horse back ride on this beach. It's a very nice and pretty beach and would love to go back and ride for a sunset ride.

We had lunch twice here which was very good. You can use the sunbeds if you are dining. The beach is good and lots of breeze so not too hot.

Beautiful long beach to walk on. Very private and on spoiled as there is not a resort on this stretch of the shore.Lovely views of St Maartin, turquoise waters and soft sand. eat at Smokeys at one end and then walk the beach.
