Excellent adventure & trip! BUT unnaceptably poor office organisation and payment system

My husband and I spent 8 days in Laos and used Green Discovery to do several of their excursions: the 1 day Kuang Xi Waterfall Adventure in Luang Prabang, the 2 days Nam Ha NPA Trek and Jungle Camp from Luang Namtha and the 1 day Boat excursion & Kayak in Nong Khiaw. We also asked them to organise transportation... More

Is this place even real? thats about all i can say. terrified sometimes due to fear of heights but never felt unsafe. Ley our guide was a legend. Going down to the camp is pretty hard on the knees, pretty steep inclines. Up is hard on the legs but easier. If it looks like rain, take boots. I did it... More

We were 4 friends doing the two-days zip lining tour. The trip was full of extra ordinary landscapes, great English speaking guide who took care of everything and made sure safety instructions are kept (His name is PE), 3 caring local guides and one incredible experience! We zip lined all day long though the jungles and waterfalls, we bathes in... More

I had a great time. The thrill of soaring out into an open valley and over a waterfall is nothing like I have ever experienced. The trip challenged me to overcome a minor fear of heights and I would do it again in an instant. Knowledge that I would pass on: be aware that there are leeches on the hiking... More

Ask for the Garden of Eden tour and request MING as your guide. He is an amazing guide with local insight and great conversation. Had such a good time with him and took us on a tough but beautiful hike. I would highly recommend it.

We booked a two-days zip lining tour and allthough it was not the first time experience of all of us, we all thought it was fantastic!! It is absolutely worth the money apart from the fact that you support the coffee planters in the area. With Ot, who was a very nice, experienced and fun person, we got a lot... More

What a trip!! I have done jungle treks before but none of them have matched up to this!!! Yes, it is expensive but knowing that the local village benefit greatly from this tourism and seeing the work it has taken to put up zip wires and everything else to make this exhilarating and safe is worth it! We went with... More

We booked onto the 3 day/2night treetop explorer/ziplining experience and loved it. Our guide Mr. Home was great, very friendly, helpful and safety aware. He is a credit to the Pakse branch of green discovery and the rest of this review is no reflection on him or any of the other local guides who were all fantastic. The food and... More

We booked the 1 night tree top explorer.. Yes it's expensive but here is why- The village who run the tree top adventure all get something out of it. Firstly they are coffee farmers and earn less than £10k a year for a family of 6! When a westerner a climber came to help build the zip lines he taught... More

This trek was amazing. Our guide Sintsai (spelling?) and local guide Mr Lat were both fantastic and provided us with lots of interesting information about the local area. They were also up for having a laugh which we enjoyed. We shared a picnic lunch of traditional food which was by far the best food we've eaten during our travels in... More
