Spent an hour going round the pristine lake in a boat. A nice way to enjoy the view besides walking or cycling around. Beautiful 100 over years old trees.

We've heard so much about the park and decided to have a stop over on our way to penang. The park was clean and was filled with big trees and plants everywhere. It was such a welcoming sight for us after looking at concrete jungle day in day out. There's also boating service provided at the lake. We were there... More

The century old rain trees are breathtaking! You will not find any other places in Malaysia with such breathtaking scenery of trees and lake. It is nice place to take a walk in the mornings or evenings. A good place to take memorable family photos and also scenery photos which would make good desktop photo or screen saver!

Located in the wettest city in Malaysia, the Lake Gardens are very green. They are very well-kept and lovely. You can jog for 10km around the lake. There is a zoo, a war memorial (taiping was occupied by the Japanese in WWII). Definitely worth seeing if you happen to be in the north of Malaysia.

I was on a nostalgia trip visiting Taiping because I had lived there 1959-1960. The Lake Gardens were pleasant but 50 years later the trees have grown and make a majestic backdrop to the Lakes. It is a real green haven. We went for a short walk late afternoon the day we arrived and were surprised to see so much... More
