there is no public transportation to the place, so it was quite hard to reach the place except you took taxis (the only public transportation in the city)

Beside of lake garden you should visit kuala sepetang. River Cruise+ Eagle feeding + Kuala sanggar + fireflies + dolphins ..... Only MR.LIM with license others was illegal. You should not just visit the lake ... haha ... his contact no : 010-5171 025

beautiful gardens with many activities, well tended and a wonderful location. easy to find, well signposted.

This place is simply marvellous and it is an excellent place for one to relax as well as do some jogging exercises. The big trees along the road leading to this area is very shady and the branches form a leafy passage which is very adorable. Simply love it.

We had a wonderful stay in Flemington Hotel. Our room is facing the Taiping Lake Garden. It is the most scenic view. Not too far away from the hotel is a well know Taiping Zoo Night Safari On the 2nd day we were introduce to visit Charcoal Factory, with guided tour at Kuala Sepetang. Beautiful old rain trees, scenic but hot... many children playgrounds .. and do eat the bismillah cendol in the town

Great for a walk or a jog in the morning, nice fresh air by the lake. Though certain places are dirty with leftover rubbish from picnickers. Plenty of choices for food in the evening just beside the town area.

The lake gardens are a sprawling green surrounding a large lake whichis a tin mine filled up! There are some really marvellous , large trees, shady walks, benches, childrens' corners. Everything, in fact, to make it a lovely place to relax.

Well maintained lake, it was very clean and was a peaceful place for family picnic. There was a lot of people especially in the morning and the evening.
