This is the best designed lake gardens in Makaysia. The rain trees growing towards the lake looks like they are hands swooping in to collect water. Well maintained. Recommended to take a walk round the lake gardens. There's a zoo and night safari just next to it.

It's one of the must go places in perak if you are visiting the state. Love the scenery here but it seems that they had chopped down some of the very very old trees due to the danger that it could bring during heavy thunderstorm. But love the tranquility and the overall lake has to offer.

Took a long ride from Penang to Taiping just to see this Popular attraction, went back disappointed Firstly, the main reason i went, is to see the Six-Legged tortoise. However, after going there, i found out from a vendor, that the person in charge of this attraction has changed. There are about 10 lakes and ponds in the attractions, and... More

I went here in 2005 and managed to get here on June 2014 when I was my trip to Bukit Merah Resort. Seriously you wull find a good level of tranquility here by the natural scenery of the lake. Not to forget the tunnel-like great old trees here. Its a great experience while driving trough it.

It's an attraction for both locals and visitors alike. The drive around the lake gardens is a good introduction to what this park has to offer. Lots of peaceful lakes, the main one with paddling boats if you're looking for that sort of activity. Shady roads and grounds because of the really old & large rain trees. Lots of couples... More

Taiping is usually a windy and cloudy city, it's best to walk during these times as the temperatures are low and the cool hill breeze will make you fell like you're in somewhere else. The best time for a walk is around 7:00 a.m to 9:00 a.m and 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. There is an area where you can... More
