One of the best maintained lake gardens / parks in Malaysia, the trees are beautiful with their branches on one side of the roads reaching the other side to get to the lake! Very beautiful and serene. Best to have your own car to drive around the lake first before parking and exploring the grounds on foot.

This place is so peaceful and one can really relax here and maybe even lower down that high blood pressure! It reminds me of Ueno Park which I visited in Japan, where the park has many facilities within its property. At Taiping Lake Gardens, you can rent a bike, paddle a boat around the lake, or just sit quietly on... More

This is probably the best public park in West Malaysia I have been to. Very clean and green. Could see a lot locals doing exercise around the park. Spotted some couple taking wedding photos in the park too.

Famous for photography especially wedding photography with the nature background. Take a scroll and smell the fresh air especially in the morning.

We were in a rush in our journey from Kuala Pilah to Betong. We decided to detour to Taiping for a night stay. It was late evening when we arrived at Taiping and we check-out from our hotel early in the morning at about 7 am. I managed to snap a photo of the lake in the dim sunset. when... More

Taiping is famous for the Avenue of the Raintrees, as I was told by a local friend, and they are in the Lake Gardens. Nice to see monkeys there too. It is a drive-through experience, with some small places to stop and park the car at the side. An absolute must-see while in Taiping.
