I went camping there with a group of friends, and it was amazing! Such beautiful sights! The water is cold, but it is the clearest water I have swam in. Clearer than the dominican. If you can forget about the cold water and look around at the incredibly lush forests, and tourquoise blue water, you might just forget you are... More

This was a great place to spend the day. We did not plan enough time. Because you have to book your return boat trip plan for as long as you can, lots of walking and hiking, and lots to see. Bring a picnic and remember to take your garbage with you!! Bring your bathing suit as well, lots of great... More

It's a breathtaking place.. try going in september or october to beat the crowds. The hike to the lighthouse from the boat ramp is a fairly easy, but rewarding one.

the wilderness of the deep forest combined with dark caves visible all through the hiking trail and the closeness to nature was an awesome experience.... it was so quiet over there that we could hear and enjoy the serene sound of water touching the stones at the rocky beach.....

We drove to the Tobermory area from Toronto. It took about 3.5 hrs. (but I was not doing the posted 100 km/h!). The quaint harbour area was just made to be photographed on a clear summer day. There were ample areas to eat while we waited for the ferry which runs twice a day. The ride to flowerpot island was... More

Sooo cool. As soon as you disembark, you feel lost, all alone on a island. It's beautiful, the flowerports are amazing!

The glass bottom boat trip and the walk to the huge flowerpot rock formations was worth the long trip from Owen Sound. The actual lighthouse has little to see. Go early and enjoy a swim.

As a previous poster mentioned, it isn't really a traditional lighthouse. They automated the light, so it is a metal pole. The reason to make the hike is the bathrooms, the picnic spots and views. Not for the lighthouse. Once you visit the flowerpots, you have seen the highlight of the island. If you are tired of hiking, don't bother... More
