The big canoe!

Great as always. First evening/ night ride. Less scenic but still very nice. Kids loved it. Great way to break up a long drive

An excellent experience. Professional. Efficient. Scenic. Affordable. The ship is so smooth you forget your on water. The cafateria has a big selection to keep everyone happy. There is a licensed lounge. Plenty of seating. 3 levels of deck viewing with seating. Take your car or truck or boat or walk on. I was very satisfied with the adventure. Tobermory... More

Easy on, easy off, and a pleasurably relaxed crossing on a gorgeous summer's day. It's difficult to find fault with the ship or the level of customer service, so I'll not try. It was a calm crossing with only a stiff breeze from the West to deter a few passengers from being outside. There's plenty of room inside when the... More

This is a great ride and a great service. Tip: Book early! We could not get back on the ferry, from the island, because we left it too late to book. I checked regularly but no space opened up. (Oh well, the drive back south was pretty too. ) But the ferry is on time, fast and efficient. Get there... More

The staging at Tobermory, loading, trip across on the MS Chi-Cheemaun, unload at South Baymouth, and Manitoulin Island was wonderful, and the staging at South Baymouth and overall return experience was equally as nice... but the trip to and from Tobermory was to be desired, a highway bypassing all the small towns, traffic and local construction would be a worthwhile... We did the dinner cruise for my Mom's 88 birthday. The food was amazing and the sunset was beautiful. It was a great meal and a fun evening

An excellent ferry ride from One side of the bay to other, with lots of amenities on board. Special note to the tourist information which has all required info for travelling around either side.

I've taken this boat many, many times in my life and this year I was really impressed by the new programming they've coordinated to make the trip an experience not just transportation. There was a First Nation native talking about culture, singing (amazing voice!) and there was an environmental group there to provide information on invasive species and other interesting... More

went on the dinner cruise and had a fabulous time the waitress was really nice. I would go back and do a dinner cruise again and seeing the loading and the unloading of the vehicles from aboard the ship was amazing. I am going to go on it next year to cross again when we travel.

A great first time experience to cross from Tobermory to the island. A 2 hour trip with an average price of $100 for a one way trip with a mini van and three children, it is quicker and cheaper to drive up the 400 to get to northern Ontario. If you plan on camping or visiting Manatoulin Island, the the... More
