The trip on the MS Chi-Cheemaun was great fun as we boarded our car and then enjoyed the ride across to the Island. The cost for a one-way trip with our car and two adults was about 75 dollars. The boat is huge with lots of places to sit. IF you are lucky grab one of the many Muskoka chairs... More

This is a nice crossing when the skies are clear. 1hour 45 minutes, with well organized embarking and disembarking. The ferry is equipped with a cafeteria and bar, and small gift shop. Somewhat older looking lounges - not too attractive - but who cares if you have blue sea and skies

We used the Chi-Cheemaun to visit Manitoulin Island while we were staying in Tobermory. What a great Ferry, a bit pricey but well worth it. The crossing takes longer than the English channel ferries from Dover to Calais, the lake is that big !!! The views of the Islands you pass are great, the service onboard First rate. I will... More

This was great. We were able to take our rv on the ferry and it was a wonderful way to get to other side of georgian bay. Kids loved it and it was a beautiful ride.

A beautiful ferry! Would recommend this over driving if you are from northern Ontario. Lots of sand flies though but they don't bother you. Food is good with reasonable prices. On the way back we had a native perform some of his songs and he was very entertaining. Lots of seating and great views from all around. You cannot access... More

We couldn't make a sunset cruise so book your tickets in advance! We got the last table for dinner and cruise for 100 for 2 people (drinks are extra) from 3:30 - 7:30. You should come in advance (1 hour) to get your tickets and then board around 3:15. Dinner was cozy. I wouldn't recommend shrimps alfredo but overall it... More

We arrived on the Bruce Peninsula to find no vacancies anywhere and the place we had booked was so bad we would rather sleep in the car than stay. Our trip was a bust! We decided to continue to Tobermory anyway just to see it. We got into town and basically drove right onto the ferry. What a beautiful ride.... More

Our trip on the Chi-Cheemaun was awesome. The food is actually pretty good (what we ate) and priced comparably. If I had any complaint, the adult ages for pricing starts at 12. The price doubles, and I felt that was a little high. Great thing to do, no matter where you're at, Manitoulin Island or Tobermory!

Great boat the take you from Tobermory to Manitoulin Island. The top deck near the front is the best spot to sit as it's the most calm, quiet and has the best view.

Was a fun little cruise, stuff for the kids to do, food was pretty good, staff were quite nice. It was a bonus for the kids as there was a play area for the kids to watch a movie or just play. Loading/unloading of the vehicles was pretty easy as well.
