This was the best activity that we did in French Polynesia. We snorkeled with sharks and sting rays - boated - and had a wonderful Polynesian meal. We met wonderful people who were Bora Bora residents. We had Polynesian music on our boat too. Take this tour & set it up at the airport in Papeete. Wonderful tour!

We took the full day Lagoonarium tour. If we were to do it again, we would choose the half day trip. Part 2 was rather disappointing. After eating a mediocre lunch, we were told to relax and do what we wanted, which basically meant sit around and hangout, which we could have done at our own resort for no extra... More

May 1, 2015 We were on a reposition cruise from Sydney to Vancouver, BC Canada. One of the port of calls - Bora Bora. We did not book an excursion with the cruise line instead we picked one of the shore snorkeling tours. We had a FABULOUS experience with Rohivai Tours. Christian (Chris) the captain of the boat and his... More

Not really our cup of tea or sea so to speak. We prefer the "wild" outdoors where the fish are not captive. The fish, sharks, rays, etc. are accustomed to interacting with humans so you get to touch a variety of ocean species. We found almost the same type of interaction in other areas of the ocean, islets, motus, et... More

The lagoonarium is next to the St Regis Hotel, where couples retreat was filmed. We were picked up from the port, as on a cruise, so the trip out to it alone is worth the visit, if you are not staying on the lagoon, as you get to see the whole of the lagoon. The place itself is very tatty,... More

We found out about this trip from a lady handing out flyers at the airport. We were staying at a Resort on the motu, which provided similar tours but more expensive. We got picked up from our resort, then taken to their "office" on the main island to pay the fee (we had to give them cash). The tour was... More

Bring fish food, they're all over you, great time. lots of variety, the big blue fish that hangs out at the end of the lagoon is amazing.

We spent the afternoon swimming with the sharks. It was a once in a lifetime experience. There were lemon sharks, black tip sharks and nurse sharks along with stingrays and green turtles and sea turtles. It was a crazy experience. The owners were so laid back about swimming with the sharks even if we were scared about getting in the... More
