Beautiful family resort

We were lucky to have amazing weather and good snow. It's perfect for beginners but bit boring for good skiers. You can also ski in Italy because two resorts are connected.

Lived in this Resort for 4 months Great Intermediate resort and if you want more you can grab the (long) drag lift to La Thuile, Italy where you can find several step Black runs Even when its school holidays and the resort is full there are never any ques for the lifts....what a bonus NIght Life - Bar La Roz... Spent a week here over Easter as a family of four - kids (8,10) hadn't skied before, one adult who hadn't skied for a while, and one non-skier. We found the resort really great for the skiers at this level. There are lots of wide gentle blue runs as well as some nice little routes through the forest. Given it... More

Our annual family and friends ski trip to La Rosiere was made all the better by the excellent ski company MoreAlps. It was our first time in the wonderful La Rosiere and we were travelling with two 4/5 year olds and a 4 month old baby so we wanted everything to be right. From the moment MoreAlps picked us up... We went to La Rosiere, because we had researched it and checked that the prices were reasonable, which they were. There is barely any apres ski action here, nor in La Thuile. There is only one cable car / gondola in the whole espace San Bernardo, (La Thuile-La Rosiere ski area.) Apart from all this, it is a great all-round... More

Just back from La Rosiere, and yes it's not a place for the very advanced skiers. The resort is helped by the link to Italy but it could be updated with a better lift system. The two drag lift that bring you over are fine but can be slow and not good for the snowboarders. The wind picks up an... More

Visited last year with friends and kids. Very picturesque place but resorted is a little disjointed. Pistes were good but lack of trees higher up meant snow was blown of tops. Nice link to Italy too (although snowboarders struggle). Better resort for skiers than boarders. Definitely an improving resort and would visit again. Hopefully they might have some gondolas by... We had an excellent week in La Rosiere (3-10 Jan), with perfect snow. A great resort for families, with lots of well-priced accommodation, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, but don't come here if you want all-night apres-ski. Very friendly low-key resort with plenty of runs for the beginner-intermediate skiers and the opportunity to ski over the pass to Italy. Almost no... More

Went with Morealps. Very very attentive ski company. Nothing is too much bother for Dan who runs it with great energy and attention to detail. No snow so they drove us free of charge to Val D' Isere every day free of charge. Amazing! Tom and Gabby were fantastic hosts and cooks.

We took two chalets this year and the service (delivery of skis, poles, boots etc.) was amazing: anything was changed so easily and brought to the chalet. The food was outstanding and they were some of the best meals I have ever had, despite one or two guests making it very difficult for our chef, Ben with truly last minute... More
