Really liked this place. We were in the peak of monsoons. The falls is around 15 Kms downhill from the seven sisters. It was pouring heavily and the road also seemed in a deteriorated condition. When we reached, bingo!!! Amazing view it was. The falls was gushing down under full force of gravity and mettled with clouds what view it... More

This waterfall is located in a very remote area and you will need to either rent a taxi to get there or hitch hike. Hitch hiking is easy enough and you get to save a lot of money and meet the locals as well. However the road is not exactly a very popular road so you might have to walk... More

Around half an hour drive from Cherra resort took us to the foot of the Kyn Rem falls. Since it was April, not too much water. This is one place just by the road, and hence not much trek/walk. Heard that during and just after monsoon, people standing on the road to view the falls would be drenched, and it... More

This fall is not in the eight points which are covered by the taxi drivers. Seven kms away from Thangkharang park is this fall. This is the only fall which you can see it from the near. The waterfall is huge and there are chances that your camera will catch moisture. A few feet away is the view point where... More

This is one of the few falls in meghalaya that remains in full flush mode throughout the year. Here you can literally see the nature's music and hear the soothing scenic valleys. Tips: 1. Make it the first visiting point in cherrapunji tour. 2. Don't try to bathe here even though you will be tempted to.

This was the first waterfall on our day trip around cherrapunjee, so obviously the one we were most awed by. Beautiful!
