Hva been here several times; alone, with my girlfriend and with my family. The place is filled with water - and everything imaginable that can live in water. There are presentations of animals. Activity areas for children where they can take on animals and fish underwater, draw / paint, play, experiment, etc.. Excellent stop after running ashore from the ferry... More

The site is with lots of aquatic experience and information. I find it intriguing, that you are fed with lots of factual information and with lots of interactive TV-screens with well balanced film clips in three languages. But - not being young any more - it was disappointing for my wife and I, that in the darker sections of the... More

It is an aquarium, with all that it involves. But the things that did the most impact, was the Klumpfisk, and the small aquariums where the kids could pick up and touch different sea creatures.

It depends about what someone expects, but probably our were too high as we found the presentation too little structured and in genreral superficial. Apparently the presentation is more geared for quantity of tourist than quality is offered. The sound installation for the feeding presentation was of poor quality, the show could better be explained by a speaker outside the... More

An oceanarium should be aware of its responsibility to educate people and children about the amazing diversity of the ocean and the need to protect its wildlife. Obviously the owners of this oceanarium only care for profit: the souvenir-shop is full of dried sea-stars, the shells of various sea snails and mussels and even souvenirs made from seal skin!! This... More

We were impressed by this attraction, thinking it was 'only' an aquarium. The word oceanarium pretends something more, and it is! The big tank containing lots of different fishes was absolutely worth a visit. It is not very often one can see small, pelagic fishes forming schools naturally and observe how they move around in the huge tank. Apart from... More

Our daughter loves animals, and really enjoyed seeing the seals, the large aquarium of fish, and learning more about the North Sea. Plus the food was excellent!

More than enough to see and both a 1 and 4 year old got plenty out of it. Didn't see overcrowded due to plenty of space. Good outdoor play area and large picnic area (covered outside area as well). Good seal display. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food in the cafe, and reasonably priced. All in all a... More

We went to this acquarium with our kids and friends, and we all really enjoyed it! What we particularly liked was the big pool in the main room, which is really stunning. The kids also liked the seals, when they were fed. It is really worth it, don't miss it!
