Nice beach, perfect for stand up paddle- because of low waves- and also for kids! Close to the light house, the water is not deep but is clean and the water is warmer.

Itacare has a lot of wounderful beaches. This beach is for lunch on the beach a good place. The beach itsself is not a Paradies... crowded, loud, dirty... for lunch... for a drink ... for a party... yes, but not to surf, not to relax... not to enjoy nature. But anyway there are better Restaurants in town.... see u there... More

It is an ordinary beach, but you can swim there. Not to much shade, you have to rent umbrella from a local vendors. During the weekends it is usually very crowded by visitors from Salvador. There are another more beautiful beaches close to Itacaré where you can spend a nice day.

A super chilled long beach, with lots of restaurants (open even out of season), stand up paddle availanle and lovely soft sand. You can take a walk to the end and watch the sunset, which i did one day. The only issue I had was LOTS of wasps (I hear this a problem generally in itacare), which can be annoying... More

What a place!! Just in love with Itacaré, Concha Beach. Best place to stay in is Aldeia do Mar. it`s a perfect pé-na-areia Hotel.

People recommended the beach to us to go swimming and stand up paddling but when we got there the waves were too strong to do stand up paddling. The tide was high and the beach was extremely small. The little sand left was covered by restaurants with plastic chairs. Brazilians might like it but if you like laying on the... More

Good beach, calm water, good bar - Ilha da Gula, excellent lula empanada. Really helpful staff. They will even serve drinks to the pool area at Pousada Vila Maeva

Very good beach to relax. The beach has no waves, so it is very calm and good for kids, who can swin in the ocean safely. There are at least 5 or 6 restaurants, where you can spend the day by the ocean and eat good food, like fresh fish and shrimp.

The urban beach in Itacaré with the neighborhood where are the hostels. Tasty and good with leftovers and its restaurants. In the northern part has the Lookout xareu. Gorgeous and on the south side at low tide is easy to go to the lighthouse. Do not miss. There's a kid 3 years local resident who does standup paddle course to... More

Really great family beach. Plenty of tables for lounging and having a couple of cold ones! There is NO SURF here so keep moving. Lots of vendors trying to sell their wares. One cool spot is first cabana at bottom of hill you can get three beers for 10 reais! Rock on!
