I want there with a friend arrive just before sunset and before the park closed. If I'm not mistaken, last entry is about 5:30pm. A visit to Pranburi Forest Park is a must for anyone visiting Hua Hin. One piece of advice I would offer is to wear nicking boots or strong shoes for your visit. Very interesting to learn how polluted shrimp farms have been transformed back to mangrove forest. You can follow nice walk through the forest.

used gps and it brought me to dust road...very bad condition >> after met the local people and suggestion a normal road then it was a fine trip

It's hard to find but a very nice place, specially when you go during the week when there are not many people. Our favourite time was just before dawn.

If you are staying in or around Hua Hin we'd definitely recommend doing the 20-minute drive up to Pranburi Forest Park. The highlight for us was the approx 1km boarded walkway through the mangrove forest, which provides a great opportunity to get a view of the inside of the forest itself, and try wildlife spotting.
