From Kuakata you can experience both sunrise and sunset from sea. More natural and raw comparing with coxs bazar. Very near to Sundarban, this place is very interesting from geographical point. The sea here is filled with fishing activities more. One can also experience lots of sea food here in kuakata. During my visit the sea was very calm but... More

Most amazing Tour of my life. Journey was good. There are several Bus services from Dhaka to Kuakata. Best one is Sakura Paribahan. They have AC and Non AC buses for Kuakata. There is a problem with AC bus. AC bus does not go to Kuakata. It dropped me Kolapara/ Khepupara Ferry Ghat, Potuakhali. My Journey was over night. I... More

To celebrate the Bangla New Year 1421, recently I'v visited Kuakata Beach (Under Potuakhali District) also known as Daughter of Sea or Daughter of Forest as the site is surrounded by different patches of forest. Among the sandy beaches of Bangladesh the Kuakata is awesome. It is very clean and also calm with clean blue water. Labu Bagan (Lemon forest... More

Kuakata is a nice place to spend two days. You will be able to see both sunrises and sunset, take a speed boat and explore jungle, eat a lot of fishes. The place hasn"t become a popular tourist attraction yet, so the traffic is thin. People of this area are nice and helpful. The journey towards Kuakata is a bit... More

Kuakata is known as "Shagor konnya"(daughter of sea) in Bangladesh. It is renowned for it's beautiful sunrise & sunset view. Kuakata has a great combination of amazing natural beauty, sandy beach of "Bay of Bengal", lifestyle of "Rakhyne" & a slight taste of Sundarbans as it is situated near Shundarban (The largest mangrove forest of the world). It is a... More

A tourist can enjoy the rare scene of sunrise and sunset from here. Things to do in Kuakata - => vast sea, calm and quiet... More

I stayed here for two days 3 years ago and its a nice beach resort but not much to do. Famous for being able to see both sunrise and sunset, but I think it was quite badly damaged by the cyclone

Kuakata is a place where you can observe both sunrise & sunset. As we all know that it is the only sea beach in the world where we can experience such luxury to watch sun set & sun rise. To visit this beautiful beach 1st you have to go to Patuakhali. you can go there either by bus or by... More
