The larger of the two beaches in Portinatx, although neither are huge. But after rain it can smell a bit....ripe. This is where the sewers seem to come out so it's not the freshest.

Not overcrowded in August. Lovely soft sand. Rocks a little way into the water. Shelves fairly gently so good for young children to splash near the edge. A couple of jellyfish on one day (out of 2 weeks) but warning flag put up and they soon cleared.

Like the other beaches in Portinaxt, this was breathtaking and sloped gently. Kids and families seemed to love it but was never uncomfortably crowded. The lady who rents the sunbeds and parasols is an absolute gem.

A beautiful beach. Gently sloping, crystal clear waters, lifeguard on duty. Very close proximity to bars, restaurants, shops and taxi's. This is the largest of the three beaches within the bay of Portiatx. Can get very busy in the height of the season.

Beautiful, clean beach with shallow waters initially and lots of fish for snorkelling. Beds/ umbrellas 5 Euros each per day, there are some areas of shade for towels if you don't want these, care as there are pine needles in the shade. Boats, pedaloes and banana etc rides available and lots of cafe/ bars nearby for drinks/ ice creams. Beware... More

Lovely beach with plenty of activities. Plenty of restaurants/bars near but not too busy. Great swimming.

Clear waters, shallow waters, kiddy safe, nice sand, watch the fishes, great slide pedalo's at a very reasonable cost. Kids loved feeding the fishes bits of bread to have them swim around you.

Beautiful beach with gorgeous clear shallow water. The fish are a great attraction and love being fed bread by kids and adults alike. There is a lifeguard present which adds to peace of mind. The were a few jellyfish on windy days but generally the sea was lovely. There are watersports and pedalos to hire. I would advise buying a... More
