We visited Glenfiddich Distillery after a lapse of about 20 plus years purely because we had had such an enjoyable visit the last time. We were not disappointed. Although the style of the tour has changed a bit the guides are as knowledgeable as can be. No questions were left unanswered or answers fudged. It was a bit noisy at... More

After we've been in a couple more distilleries, this one's tour was the most thorough and the longest. The guide (Gayle) knew the answers to every single question. There was a big focus on the aging process and the various methods that are in use in Glenfidich. The tasting was excellent.

My husband and i have visited a few distillerys in the past but this was by far the better one. Our tour guide was (Pom), She was very informative and very enthusiatic and had a lovely cheery disposition. Loved going into the warehouses, getting to smell the 3 different aged whisky barrels was fun and obviously the creme de le... More

The staff are great and the tour very informative. At the end you get to taste 4 of the whiskeys all which is very good value for the price

Having done the Famous Grouse Experience the week before which we were charged entrance, this was definitely better and cheaper! Yes, it is a bigger set up and yes there it is all much more commercialised than the Glenturret Distillery. But the video at the beginning was brilliant, the host that took us round was very knowledgeable and (though quite... More

After visiting a couple of distilleries before we were unsure of visiting another but we were not disappointed. We opted for the Explorers Tour which costs £10 each but is definitely worth it, especially since it includes 4 tastings at the end and the chance to see some parts of the distillery you wouldn't see on the standard tour. The... More

We took the £10 Explorer tour well worth it! Beth our informative guide did a wonderful job explaining the history and nuisances of the Glenfiddich single malts. An intimate tasting featured 12, 15, 18 and 21 year old vintages. The Explorer Tour includes a special visit into Warehouse 8 where we saw the Solara technique implementation for their 15 year... Been a fan of single-malts since 1978, so for me, this was like a religious pilgrimage. I completely enjoyed it. There is no charge. I know! Amazing, right? The tour starts off with a short video, and you are then assigned to a (young, very personable) tour guide who leads your group of 15-20 fellow pilgrims and others on a... More

We went on the free tour "free" i know we could not believe it. We had a tour guide who showed us round with small films as well and a free taste of each malt the 12 , 15 , 18 year old malts . Staff lovely and such a nice surprise to be able to save money to spend... More
