Description: Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch...
Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, has developed a new tour programme for The Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. From January 2015, visitors will be able to choose from a tailored range of three paid-for tours, including an option to draw a dram straight from a cask in our oldest warehouse. The over-18s-only tours cater for all interests and budgets, from those looking for a unique behind the scenes distillery visit through to whisky enthusiasts seeking a fully immersive experience, and vary in duration from one and a half hours up to three and a half hours. Further details are below: 1. Explorer Tour (£10): a fully guided tour of the distillery and Warehouse 8, including a tutored tasting of four award winning drams. Tours from 9.30Pm - 4.00Pm Draw Your own Dram (£25): those on the Explorer tour also have the opportunity to draw a 20cl bottle directly from a cask laid down more than 12 years ago and log it in Warehouse 1's logbook. Glenfiddich Solera Deconstructed (£35): a new hands-on, tailored experience with a full introduction to Glenfiddich's unique Solera system. Visitors can nose several samples and enjoy a tutored tasting of 4 cask strength 15 year old samples before recreating their very own version of Glenfiddich Solera. Two tours daily 2. New Pioneer (£95): a half-day immersive experience for whisky enthusiasts. This in-depth tour offers insight into the marrying process in Warehouse 6, and the opportunity to bottle a 20cl whisky from the Malt Master's personal selection of casks. Finally, guests enjoy a nosing and tasting masterclass in the Grant Family Home, featuring five Glenfiddich whiskies matched with appetisers. One daily tour. We are extremely proud of the fact that Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family-owned today and all tours will continue to offer an unforgettable insight into our unique, family-run heritage. We look forward to welcoming guests to our distillery.

Slick, profesional and lives up to the global brand. Have been many times, whilst I feel the tour has lost some of its reel feel base this on those office guys who call themselves 'health and safety' nevertheless the food in the bistro/ coffee shop is absolutely first class. I have eaten in many places over the years and the... More

Enjoyed our morning coffee at the Restaurant in front of the beautiful open log fire, on a cold and windy day. We were a party of 4 our Danish guests very much enjoyed their free tour and tastings. The whole place is just spotless. Hope to stop and have lunch, as I spotted haggis, neeps, and tatties.

For any visitor to Scotland or indeed anyone interested in Whisky a visit to the Glenfiddich Distillery will remain in the memory. Beautifully sculptured grounds and rest rooms fit for a Queen combine with a lovely restaurant to eat in after the Distillery Tour. The onsite shop is a tad expensive and many of the products can be purchased more... More

We did the £10 hour and a half tour, which includes tastings of the 12, 14, 15 & 18 year old Whiskey at the end. As the sober driver I couldn't drink, however the guide gives drivers a small bottle instead. You to see the distilling process from beginning to end. I'd rank this as one of the best brewery/distillery... More

We did this tour the same day we did Ablerlour's Founder's tour, and we loved Aberlour's Tour so much more. We chose the Explorer's Tour, which was priced at 10 pounds for each person, and the Aberlour tour was 30 pounds each so a direct comparison is probably not fair. The Glenfiddich tour was a like a well-oiled machine: people... More

We took the £10 explorer tour, and our tour guide was Joan. Very good value for money. 90 minutes and 4 samples (smaller than a nip but enough) of single malt, the 12, 15, 18 and 21 year old. In 90 minutes we got a good idea of the whisky making process and the history of the distillery. Good value.

I didn't like because I was too young, but now I drink Glenfiddich sometimes with friends ! It s sure i will go... More

Tour staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The product, of course, is world class. Fascinating to learn about the history of the distillery and the production process. Well worth a visit.

We went on the explorer tour and our guide was great. The tasting wasuch better than experienced at others with a try of the 21yo. Didn't appreciate being made to sit through corporate videos at the start of the tour. Felt like a 15 minute advert.

Wow, what a visit and would well recommend it to everyone. I treat my husband for his 40th birthday, first having lunch in the restaurant which was a great start as the food was amazing and then we both did the Pioneer tour and Beth our tour guide was fantastic. Very informative and answered every question my husband asked her.... More
