Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch...

Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, has developed a new tour programme for The Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Visitors will be able to choose from a tailored range of three paid-for tours. The over-18s-only tours cater for all interests and budgets, from those looking for a unique behind the scenes distillery visit through to whisky enthusiasts seeking a fully immersive experience, and vary in duration from one and a half hours up to three and a half hours. Further details are below: 1. Explorer Tour (£10): a fully guided tour of the distillery and Warehouse 8, including a tutored tasting of four award winning drams. Tours from 9.30Pm - 4.00Pm Glenfiddich Solera Deconstructed (£50): a new hands-on, tailored experience with a full introduction to Glenfiddich's unique Solera system. Visitors can nose several samples and enjoy a tutored tasting of 4 cask strength 15 year old samples before recreating their very own version of Glenfiddich Solera. Two tours daily 2. New Pioneer (£95): a half-day immersive experience for whisky enthusiasts. This in-depth tour offers insight into the marrying process in Warehouse 6, and the opportunity to bottle a 20cl whisky from the Malt Master's personal selection of casks. Finally, guests enjoy a nosing and tasting masterclass in the Grant Family Home, featuring five Glenfiddich whiskies matched with appetisers. One daily tour. We are extremely proud of the fact that Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family-owned today and all tours will continue to offer an unforgettable insight into our unique, family-run heritage. We look forward to welcoming guests to our distillery.

We had such a good time on our tour. It was very good value and we loved seeing the distillery with a knowledgeable guide. As we visited in the low season (and on a Sunday) we were very happy to experience the "business as usual" attitude that everyone showed. Would love to go back!

Well worth the visit if your into whiskey and if your not, as the way whiskey is made in its self is very interesting, the tasting session at the end was awesome I love whiskey and you get to sample many years of whiskey, it was also free entry when we went so all in a good day out for... More

At a lose end due to a lack of snow, this tour was recommended by Dianne at Argyle guest house in Tomintoul. It was worth it. Took about 30 mins to get there and it was a great tour. I don't even drink whiskey! The distillery is impressive and well laid out with an impressive visitors centre and surroundings. The... More

I was pretty prepared for this tour being a bit basic, and just because it was/is, does not mean it was bad. My wife and I still enjoyed this tour, I am just reviewing it as I see it, and probably unfairly comparing it to some other tours in the area (Balvenie and Macallan). The tour is informative, but you... More

Really good tour! Great value at only £10 including four different drams to taste. The tour was v interesting and exceeded my expectations, I thought that being such a large company glenfiddich would be a bit of factory type atmosphere, but it was the total opposite. I'd really recommend it

On Christmas day,She said it would be great to visit this particular distillery and `sample a few drams`!!!!!. When I returned back to work after Christmas,a colleague told me he had booked a log cabin in York for May that year. That... More

Great way to see how they make their Whisky. The tour i took would not be suitable for people who struggle to walk as there are a few times you have to go up flights of steps and im not sure if they do a separate tour for people who are wheelchair bound. At the end you get to sample... More

Glenfiddich is not only a beautiful whisky but a gorgeous location. The family-owned campus is large & very well-maintained. Our guide, Ian, was knowledgable & charming. We got a behind the scenes look at how the whisky is made & stored... all fascinating! Finished up in the private tasting room above the lovely Malt Barn, where we had a delicious... More
