Interesting fort with links to associated forts nearby. Good views along the coast in both directions.

At the northern end of the attractive town of Fornells is Torre De Fornells, a. Defence tower built in 1801 during the period of the English rule in Menorca. There is a free car park at the bottom of the hill, but would recommend parking on the sea front (free) and making the very attractive walk along the harbour through... More

Well resourced historic site. I loved the fact that it had been set up so that you could really imagine how life was in the tower. Great views from the top - no-one was going to get past those guns. Sadly the information is not in English so i suggest you read up about it before you go.

We arrived here at sunset in June 8:45pm local time, and the views are simply stunning. A really short and easy walk to walk of dinner. Stop and get gelato from the ice cream parlour on the front to eat along the way. This would also be a perfect picnic stop or to enjoy nice bottle of fizz.

Came across this on a walk, we decided to have a look. (Built during the English Rule, built 1801/1802) As with everything on the Island, it was clean and tidy. The lady who served us, spoke English, the information boards were in several languages, and informative. The views were fantastic, with good panoramic photo opportunities. Worth a visit, for a... Was a lovely view but some more info about the tower would add to the experience. The lighthouse along the coast offers better views and you can look back at this tower from there

This is an ideal short walk, with good wheelchair access and also great for accompanied children, the views are spectacular. Along the short climb you will fine a small shrine cut into the side of the rocks. The Tower is what you would expect it to be, just a tower....may I also add that there are toilets and parking at... The tower is situated on the top of a hill but it is a pleasant walk up to it and the views from there are excellent
