Wouldn't make a special journey but worth a look if you're in Fornells, as nice to see a bit of local history. Go on a good day and you'll get some nice views from the top. I don't know why one of the other reviews stated you can't get inside, because you can - maybe it's closed out of season?

Not realy interesting. It is only small, would not bother go there again. There are more interesting things to do on Menorca

The tower is at the end point of the path along Fornell's marina and overlooks the town. Entrance is €2.40 (but free on Mondays) and you get an information book to walk round with. It's well maintained inside and there are a couple of displays plus a (very tight!) spiral staircase to get to the top. There's nothing particularly unique... More

The tower is very nice on the outside that has been restored in full. The check must be done inside paying, but yo have the choice to go on Moday´s morning, that is free entrance. Yo have really good views to Fornells beach and the port.

Visited fornells, and followed the path up to the tower, not recommend for people with walking difficulties, you can go inside the tower but we chose not to as it was quite expensive considering how small it is, but nice views from the exterior.

Just a tower, nothing much to see. Rounded tower, you can't get inside it, so not really much to see

The harbour town of Fornells on Menorca is a walker-friendly destination in which to stroll, relax and take a break. The watch tower is a reminder of the strategic role that this island has played in shipping and trade over many years. Today it is a relatively quiet and picturesque village to include in your travel plans.

Stopped off at Fornells for a bite to eat. The harbour was lovely with an authentic feel to it. Enjoyed a pleasant lunch and looked at the tower. Sadly, the weather prevented a more thorough walkabout of the area but we did enjoy our short visit. Worth the stop off.

Free on Mondays but get there well before closing time at 3pm. This is the only fully restored watch tower on the island.
