This is a really nice beach with gift stalls on the land at the rear. We stayed near here some years ago and came back for a look. It has not changed much at all apart from a new bar at the opposite end to the Accra Beach hotel.

I am a beach bum and when I visit a beach I must go in. When I got in the water with my snorkeling gear, I was taken back at how clear the water was, even if you take out the mask. There's a reef just about 50 meters from shore that you can visit and see beautiful tropical fish.,... More

This is our favorite beach! It is on the south coast where there is lots of activity. The beach is Sandy. We have been coming for 10 years and Have already planned our 2 month visit in 2015!

The beaches are great and my son had a lot of fun, we try to hit all before our three weeks was up. There are changing facilities only problem is that they open at 8:30am and I am on the beach by 6 am.

Nice beach, grab an umbrella and chairs, you are set. They don't deliver the bucket of beers on this beach, you have to get up and walk to the grill, but that's ok.

This is our favourite beach when we go to Barbados. The facilities here are great - ample parking, plenty of places to grab something to eat and drink. Towards the end of the beach there is Tiki Bar (recommended) and across the road Chefette and a mall with food outlets. There are local vendors selling souvenirs and gifts. Sun loungers... More

Beautiful beach, translucent turquoise water, clean, and staffed by lifeguards, a very good family beach. It is very easily accessible, and it had services right in the area: clean bathrooms, shower areas, food, and plenty of transportation.

Like the beach, like the fact that it is across from Just Grillin', has a beach bar and vendors set up in the area to purchase native items.

Rockley (or Accra) beach itself is very picturesque with the most perfect sand you'll ever set foot on. The beach shelves out gradually and there is a lifeguard so it is great for kids. The local area has loads of cafes and shops for any budget consequently it gets busy by Barbadian standards although not by European standards as there... More
