We stayed in this area and frequented this beach every day. It was never crowded. The ocean was quite rough when we were there but it made it that much more pleasant to play in the waves.

Stopped here for a stroll along the boardwalk. Lovely views and inviting sea. Would like to have stayed longer.

A couple of beach bars, resturants, it is part of a nice walk north if you like walking miles of beach and sight seeing.

Not sure which part this refers to but some places have good sand but swimming can be difficult due to rocks. And beware of broken glass.

Rough seas - loads of undertow and rocky - go to Carlisle Bay when there are no cruise ships in - lovely beach and seas but I would love loads of little restaurants like you get in Thailand buit no such luck
