Lovely beach with easy access to local shops, bars etc and easy to get to on all the buses and ZR's, plenty of life but large enough to find your own quiet spot, soft white sand right out into the sea and very safe.

I've never seen people sitting for long perhaps because there is always a strong breeze. The view is beautiful and the sand is soft and white. The sea has reasonable waves and is not for those who Can't swim reaally. There isn't much shade on the beach but places you can get out of the sun off the beach. The... More

Wow!. I am from Trinidad and Tobago, and am telling you the beat was gorgeous, clean and well maintained. Could live on that beach!

Another lovely stretch of beach on the southern coast. Not as wide as other beaches but does have the advantage of the boardwalk running along it, so easy access for wheelchairs or buggies.

Brilliant - fairly secluded with lots of shade and safe bathing. Lots of fish to see by the reef too.

This is a nice beach on the south coast. there are a few pebbles/ rocks covered with seaweed in some parts but apart from that the sea is lovely to swim in.

Get here early to make the most of it. Bed prices are reasonable. My tip for this beach is to take your own snorkel and swim out to the catamarans and see the turtles for yourself.

Very safe for children as the sea level is not too deep, you have to go quite a way out before it's deep enough to swim, if you're lucky enough to spot one, there are turtles swimming quite close to the shore, which is very entertaining for those that snorkel
