It's no wonder a lot of couples have their wedding photographs take here, it's a very picturesque and beautiful place. It's one of Scotland's oldest (if not the oldest, I can't remember) distilleries. The tour was really good - it was fun and informative and the tasting at the end of the four whiskeys was really good. There are some... More

My parents and I visited here today and we were impressed by the visit. Our guide was very knowledgeable which made the visit better. The highlight was the tasting sessions after our visit. Since we were driving they had convenient plastic bottles for sale where the unconsumed drams could be stored for later consumption.

We visited on a silent day when the distillery wasn't in operation however this made it a better experience as some maintenance was underway. This enabled the ability to see inside things when they were not in use so you had a better look and got a real sense of the size of some of the apparatus. A very informative... More

This Distillery is the one of the most beautiful und oldest distilleries in the Speyside. She is the draft horse of the well know Chivas Regal.

All the tourist brochures will tell you that this distillery is a beauty. Well, it is true what they say! It was a bit unfortunate that Strathisla had already closed for the silent season, so we could not do the whole tour. We decided to ask a member of the staff to tell us about their products and he took... More

One of our last visits in the Speyside area so had been through a fair amount of whisky by the time we got here. The tour was really good and very friendly and helpful staff. the highlight was the option to bottle and label your own bottle of 14 year old single barrel Strathisla.

The staff were very helpful, unfortunately as I have mobility problems I was settled in a comfortable chair in the lounge and given a free pot of tea whilst my husband did the tour which he thoroughly enjoyed and found fascinating. I was well looked after and at the end of his tour was invited to watch the tasting which... More

We visited the distillery on short notice and were ushered right into a tour group of five. Our visit took place during the "quiet season" when no whisky was being produced. There are benefits and disadvantages to each season but the lack of noise during our time seemed to allow for more questions and discussion about the science and industry... More

We have visited the distillery before to buy whiskey, but decided we would come back and do the tour. Alison was our guide and she was extremely friendly and knowledgable, answering all our questions. The tasting at the end was enjoyable and the tour was very reasonably priced. A bargain, and definitely worth a visit.

The atmosphere in Strathisla is quite unique and the rooms in the visitors centre are worth a visit. The distillery is listed building and will be of interest to those who love historic buildings. The tasting was done very well and was unrushed.
