If you can visit only one distillery during your tour , it must be this . It is the oldest distillery in the Scottish highlands and the most beautiful one , I am told . My husband and I have worked for Pernod Ricard earlier and so this was an obvious choice for us . The tour was lovely. Just... More

The tour is very personal so you feel is quite exclusive. I suggest to try the whiskey liqueur if you are not a whiskey fan.

We had a very personal tour of this distillery with another couple. The great benefit of this whisky place was that it was still manufacturing & producing whisky to this day, unlike many others. We were shown all processes of the whisky making, and could literally feel the different grains, (Eg malt), see & smell each process, from heating up... More

I have nothing to compare it with but the staff at Strathisla Distillery were friendly and helpful. They were happy to tell me about their product and allow tastings. the site was beautiful and there was plenty of parking. Had I time to do a complete tour, I would have. next time....

We had a wonderful tour with Rebecca who made us feel very welcome and also had a good knowledge of the distillery. This is a beautiful distillery and even if you're not a fan of Scotch then it's still worth a visit.

The distillery itself is beautiful. Hands down one of the best! The tours were every 30 minutes, so that was good if you just missed one. There were two connoisseur tours available as well although I believe they must be pre-booked...check out their website. The staff was excellent on all levels. Our guide really knew her whisky and was a... More

Went on the tour which was reasonably priced and lasted about an hour. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Really interesting tour guide who knew her stuff. It seems a bit pot luck on whether it will be busy or quiet - it depends if a coach party has just arrived. In talking to them, just after lunch... More

We chose this out of all the distillery tours as it was near to where we were staying, and because of the association with the legendary brand, Chivas Regal. We turned up, without booking, and the tour began within minutes. Our guide, Mairi, was very knowledgable and passionate about the Distillery, as her Father had worked there. She was multi... More

Glenlivet might be a more popular distillery in the region but this one's definitely a class. We chose to tour the Strathisla distillery as it's the home of Chivas Regal and our dad is a Chivas loyal. It is the oldest distillery on the whisky trail; about 200 years old. But it's very well maintained. It's perfectly designed for the... More

The place where the oldest distillery in scotland is is really beautiful. You can see the source from where the pure water the use comes... The buiding is very nice. We didn´t have any difficult to visit the distillery. A very nice attendant took us through a very interesting tours with a "taste grand finale" ! They were all very... More
