You might see the occasional gecko or spider, but that's what you get when you go to Zanzibar, so it's okay. The food was really good with enough variety to keep you interested. Seafood was great. If you want a relaxing holiday spent lying on the beach , then Uroa is for you. The place is beautiful, and you can live a bit of traditional Zanzibar going to see the seaweed farming during low tide or venturing to the fish market with the fisherman bringing their catch @ 12-13. Not much to do except walk on... More

Went there to view the beach after reading the reviews and was glad to have done this. Tropical island at its height. Endless Paradise

Beach was clean, very few locals selling good. A place to relax and chill and take in the sun. The sea was lovely and clean idea for swimming.

And the most interesting thing is tides. (I can't see it in my country) At mornings you can't find the sea on the... More

Its an idilic place but only to view. The palm tree lined coast & the spaced out hidden hotels all make this place really quiet. If you like to stay within the grounds, chillin & tanning then its fine. The tide is out as far as the reef while we were there & when it came in it brought a... More

This is quite possibly the nicest beach on Zanzibar and is a must see. I would recommend that you bring a snorkel mask here as the ocean life is spectacular.
