Interesting site

Very nice place if looking from outside, but not very well preserved when someone visits the inside.

Great views and history. Seems that Kos doesn't have to comply with health and safety since quite a few places one could stand with sheer drops of forty feet to concrete....but that also makes it unusually untouched and fascinating. 1490 ish built.

my 4 year old and seven year old children both enjoyed exploring this ancient castle and posing with the various ruins. Good value entrance fees and friendly staff on gate. Ideal for an hour and just a few minutes walk from town.

If you are into history and facts this is a must. I found Kos Fortress really interesting. There are so many different parts of this to see. The views are fantastic too.

Historical place, lovely views from the top, but take sunglasses as the glare off the stone hurts your eyes, we travelled in July and weather was 45 degrees, furthermore we didn't stay long as it was unbearable the heat. But not to take this away from the history of the place,
