Brilliant fantastic views! Quiet and peaceful away from the busy town! Small charge which included a map and information about the castle.

The views really are fantastic but unfortunately we had to pay to get inside. If you're after some photos on holiday, this is the place to get a few!

its worth a visit, only 3 euros to get in and wander along the walls and take pics. Don't go expecting too much and you wont be disappointed.

The castle 's ruins are very wide and most of them are open to the the pubblic, you can walk all the way around the walls and in many areas you can find some seats and trees to have a rest from the sun. From the walls you can also have a good view of the arbour and the sea.

Great holidays worth, mentioning I want to go back there as soon as possible, castle was beautiful and admission was very cheap, definitely a must see on this beautiful Greek island.

Enjoyed our trip to the Castle and like its says in other reviews some good photos to be taken from the castle walls but wear trainers not flip flops and be careful if its very hot as there is very little shade and it takes a while to see all of the castle.

A lovely few hours spent walking around - looking at archaelogical remains, some standing and quite a few built into the castle walls and buildings, from classic greek to crusaders. Get up to the ramparts and you get lovely pictures overlooking Kos harbour one way and the marina the other.
