A good bit of history. Interesting tour of the ruins and a good vantage point to see the harbour. Closed on Mondays but open usual hours every other day.

When in Kos take time to visit the historic castle commanding harbour front setting. The grounds are extensive with some interesting viewing. Difficult access for some so be aware. Access to all areas including ramparts and towers with great view across port. Cost is €3 per person and worth a visit to local historic building that depicts worldwide heritage...

Kos town castle is nothing spectacular in it self, if anything a decent view over the aegean. The entrance fee is an affordable 3 euros and depending on your expectations the value for your money is ok. I wouldn't go there for a second time, but I don't regret having been there either. All in all, one of them many... More
