this bar has now closed, very sad, but that's life. hopefully the beautiful people who visited this bar year after year, will still come back to Tingaki, yes the bar was fab. I've read, hear and seen some nice things about The Red House Bar at the Mall in Tigaki. You can still find a great little movie on youtube. Can imagine this was great place. But it is gone for ever. This information can be found on their website and in the Mall they confirmed this too.

No disco,trance or dance at this joint.They play a lot of the old stuff from the 60/70, some blues and jazz. Really laidback. Livemusic every night, local mucians and tourists many come back year after year to play together I have found no other bar on the island doing this. This will be my third year, and I am bringing... Redhouse bar in Tingaki is absolutely superb, live music every night, Dave himself, local musicians, tourists, anyone who can sing or play is welcome on stage, fantastic atmosphere, if you like rock, it's a must. You can dance the night away or just sit and listen, with a drink served by Jan. Once a week, Brian, does his Frank Sinatra... More
