Just arrived in sri lanka and we're advised to visit this place by our tour guide and what a fantastic suggestion! It's in the proper sri lankan village with lovely sri lankan people. The treatment is perfect to start your holiday, it lasts 2 hours and costs 50 pound, well worth it! We also gave the ladies a small tip... More

Really great massage, followed by a sauna and then herbal heat in a wooden recliner. Massage was excellent and the people were very friendly. We were there about 90 minutes and it cost £20. Great value

mass processing, tourist trap and high prices for a massage which is more like a stroking than a ayurvedic massage. the pictures are not the reality, but the double debit entry of my credit card was real. so take care of this tourist trap. intersting was also the wheezing of the stranger in the massage room, but i think i... Our driver brought us here after we spent the whole day climbing and walking around the amazing sites of Sigriya and Polonnaruwa. It was late so we were a little impatient at first because they wanted to explain their special treatments and packages. We just wanted to know what the 1 hour massage cost and we almost left because they... More

The last vacation was to watch the wild elephants in Minneriya National park and a dip in the Minneriya tank , off the ancient sluice gate of the reservoir. We started our jurney in to the park around 2.30 pm and a drive towards the Great Minneriya tank was a pleasant one where there were flocks of peacocks by he... More

This was our first experience of a Ayurvedic spa in Sri Lanka and we both enjoyed it. The complex is very attractive with wooden huts used as treatment rooms and the whole ambience was very authentic. For $35 per person you got a one hour whole body massage with traditional herbs and oils and 20 minutes in the steam room.... More

Taken by our driver after we had been scrubbing elephants in the river near by (cost of this 2-300 for the privilege of taking some photos which I was ok with) Agree with other reviewers that the picture of the building is not of the spa but the 2interior ones certainly are. Not 5star but appeared clean . Lockers with... More

For sure the photo is not where I went but from all accounts it's the place in the little downtown that I went to. $75 for the 3 step treatment. Was good value. Step one for my was the hit oil dripped on the "third eye" to open it on your forehead. Second was an awesome oil massage. And their... More

The current profile picture on the thumbnail is certainly not of this spa and gives a false impression of an upmarket spa. We have not patronized this business during peak tourist season so "bedan"'s experience is not something I can relate to. However it is possible this could be noisy during the bustling tourist season in the area where all... More

Visited this spa in late July 2013. Short distance from the hotel. The place was quiet as there was just one client when I visited because it was low season for tourism in Sri Lanka. The place is clean and the massage good but could have been better. The 20-minute steambath session inside a wooden capsule in which I was... More
