After a day visiting the sights we paid a visit to this spa and had a lovely relaxing experience. The ladies were attentive, sensitive to our needs and we came away fully refreshed and relaxed. We would definitely go again. Just be mindful if you're body conscious the treatment leaves you with little to hide your dignity :-)

Our lovely Sri Lankan guide Vijay (Walkers Tours) took us to Kelly's Diner for a snack lunch. It was a modern, clean restaurant, the food was enjoyable especially the cucumber soup, dry fish (tasty and not too spicy hot). Choices of rice, curries etc The staff were friendly and very efficient (wish all were the same in the UK). Afterwards... More

The spa is really lovely as an experience and the food was very nice in the restaurant. to the left of the restaurant if you are facing it there is a house and outside is a cage that has enough space for a large german shepherd dog to sit, but not move around. apparently he is in there 24/7. this... After a long day travelling, we thoroughly enjoyed the Ayurvedic Spa in Habarana. It isn't luxurious but then isn't advertised as such. The staff are happy & helpful and certainly know what they are doing. The oil massage was lovely- starting with the head & neck, whilst seated, followed by a full body massage. The highlight was the steam beds-... More

For anyone that has tried a decent oil massage before, this would directly look as a joke. First, it is in a house! Second, there is no AC but a ceiling fan instead! Third, there is no music at all but you'd rather hear people coming in and out! Fourth, the hygiene is very bad Fifth, the person who does... More

Very authentic looking set up... individual little grass roofed shacks scattered around a leafy garden.. I was taken there by my driver and was impressed at first and then I couldn't see an actual price list and couldn't quite understand the options offered... it did look genuine so I opted for the 1hr massage with 20 min steam afterwards, they... Just arrived in sri lanka and we're advised to visit this place by our tour guide and what a fantastic suggestion! It's in the proper sri lankan village with lovely sri lankan people. The treatment is perfect to start your holiday, it lasts 2 hours and costs 50 pound, well worth it! We also gave the ladies a small tip... More

Really great massage, followed by a sauna and then herbal heat in a wooden recliner. Massage was excellent and the people were very friendly. We were there about 90 minutes and it cost £20. Great value

mass processing, tourist trap and high prices for a massage which is more like a stroking than a ayurvedic massage. the pictures are not the reality, but the double debit entry of my credit card was real. so take care of this tourist trap. intersting was also the wheezing of the stranger in the massage room, but i think i...
