the desert is a magic place

watching the stars, feeling the sand & travelling on a camel was wonderful... it's definitely something to do, but u need to find the good organiser to do so...

We spent three days with this organization. We were incredibly disappointed by the poor value, service and the dangerous driving of this organization. The food was poor, the focus was on up-selling items and the historical explanations were non-existing. Stay away!

We were very disappointed with our experience. The driver spoke poor French or English and had no historic or geological understanding of the surroundings. Most of all organized stops on our drive to the desert were commercially focused (e.g. selling Argan oil 50% more expensive than anywhere else; selling jewelry etc.) and this despite having repeatedly expressed our clear objection.... We spent 2 nights by the Erg Chigaga dunes and the beauty of the location, great conditions of the camp, delicious food, cleaness, solar energy, and caring staff made our experience unforgetable. the entire ambience , food and the location are definitely amazing .also the explanation from hassan about the cultures, wedding traditions , the entertainment by the local band was excellently arranged.

If you want to see some of the "real" Morocco go with Bivouac Sous Les Etoiles. They are a very organized locally run tour company who will cater your excurision to what you want to see and do and will pick you up from anywhere in Morocco.
