The Maritime Museum (MOP10 for adults over 17, only MOP5 of Sunday) is easily one of Macau's best museums and is conveniently located just across from the famous A-Ma Temple. Here you can see four floors of exhibitions, displays and information related to local maritime activity and how Macau was shaped throughout history due to its proximity to the sea.... More

The museum exhibits interesting artifacts from the seafaring and trading past of Macau, China and Portugal. There is a mock-up of a Hakka fishing village and there are displays of dragon boats. Why not? You're visiting the A-Ma temple anyway and it's just across the plaza. Actually, quite interesting if you're interested in maritime stuff.

Macau is known more for its gambling...but people tend to overlook its historical past; which is important to Oriental trade. Be sure to go to the Maritime Museum.

Very very educational . Can really understand the Macau maritime history. All the display had description and even though it was not too big but can spend at elast 3 hours . Strongly recommended.
