This is one of the most beautiful churches I have visited as its so perfectly preserved what a piece of history so gracefully preserved and I hope they preserve it for a 1,000 more years

It locates at senado sq., so it's really convenient to go. The church is not big but quite beautiful and good atmosphere. I bet most of travelers come to senado sq., so it's not bad to take a walk here.

In the heart of the historic centre of Macau walking among the streets of the city centre you find yourself faced with numerous churches testifying to the former Portuguese colony of Macau, one of these delicious structures is the St. Domingo's church. As modest as modest is the building size, I really liked the yellow color of the facade with... More

This had to be one of the nicest churches I've seen before. A nice buttery yellow exterior paint with dark green on the shutters. The interior was very stunning and the statues and various religious elements around the sides were incredibly cool. When you walk to the right there's a corridor that leads to the back of the church to... More

Don't expect too much. Ordinary working church. A nice & quite getaway from the street noise. Say a prayer, enjoy the peace.

Just beautiful as we walked in when the choir were practising. Definitely worth having a look at if you are in the vicinity.

I hadn't done any real research before embarking on my day-out in Macau during my stopover in Hong Kong but this church was a pleasant surprise. Brightly coloured, simple yet it has something about it, at least for me. Probably having something Portuguese in the middle of Asia. Well worth visiting when doing your walking tour of Macau.

St. Dominic's Church is not far from Senado Square on a pedestrian street. It is a pale yellow typical Portuguese church, lovely from the outside. The interior is worth seeing but is extremely simple and humble.

you will really see this church because you will pass by here on your way to the Ruins of St. Paul Church. The exterior is very Portuguese design/influence.

Can you bear it? Crowds, chatting, no real preservation of the old Church's purpose, well, except once a week, Saturday at 5 pm. Well, I couldn't call it a Mass, it has strange 'guardians' around the altar, just staring at the people; one 'MC' was bad enough; now who are these others? But look at the amazing ceiling; painted in... More
