I had to drop my rating from excellent to very good because during our latest visit there were more people which equals more cars and trash. The road to the beach has been much improved and there are now porta johns up at the lighthouse (closed at 4:30) so, that's good. However the popularity of this beach has grown since... More

Playa Sucia is a beautiful calm white sand beach with crystal clear water. It's a secluded beach that has parking that gets full early. Police will block access to trail to park if you go late afternoon. There's a bus that will take you to the beach if you leave your car in a nearby lot (Cost 5$). Weekdays it's... More

It's straight out of a romance novel. The colors in the water look fake. Emerald green. A must if you get a chance.

This was the 1st beach I went to during my visit and I loved it! It is not crowded with tourists, but with a bunch of locals. It was quite the drive, but totally worth it. As the title is misleading, the beach was beautiful. The water was very clear. I hope to go back as soon as possible.

Gorgeous beach but plan to be there early and bring your own stuff as is secluded. . Love it and you discover the magic of the place when you visit it more than once.

Such a wonderful and secluded beach. Cons were parking, if you didn't get there when the gates open then you will be parked far away even if there is parking left. Also...its quite a walk depending where you're parked to get to the beach. And if you're like me who has to bring a cooler, beach chairs, towels, sun tents etc... More

Nice beach but it too small & there isn;t parking. After reviewed one of the best beaches, there are too many visitors (crowds).

One of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico. Worth the trip to this remote corner of the island. Less crowded than its larger (and also beautiful) neighbor beach of El Combate. Go early (7:30-8:00am; gates open at 8:30am) if you want to get a good spot (very few shade areas). I suggest you avoid weekend and holidays unless you... More

Been here many times and for good reason; the water is great, and the sand is perfect for play or relaxing. Be there early or it fills up though.

Interesting beach. Not much shade so of course I loved this location. I'm a huge fan of sunbathing. A must see.
