La playuela del faro or lighthouse's little beach is a small crescent shape beach at 3 hour ride from San Juan in the beautiful Cabo Rojo. It's in natural state: no road, no parking, no services, no illumination, no water or food. You drive from boqueron and pass the salt flats thought a dirt route (in good shape no need... More

The photo you show as that of "Playa Sucia" is not from that beach, but from "LA PLAYUELA" ("Little Beach"), as you can see in the área map. La Playuela is located between the two mounds we call Los Morrillos (if you stand looking at the sea, the lighthouse is to your right). If you walk towards the left mound... More

It's a beautiful beach, It was way too salty. I know, it's the beach, salt water. But I couldn't do snorkeling because of it. Other than that it's awesome!!!!

The road ends and the bumpy dirt road starts. From the end of the road to the beach is probably a 1/2 mile. You drive by salt flats which looks like dead trees and abandoned area. We had a car and just drove slow which was fine. The road is very small so with a car coming one of you... More

Sucia Beach is located west of Puerto Rico Cabo Rojo . I consider it one of the best beaches I have visited in Puerto Rico . It has a very relaxing atmosphere with a spectacular view. On this beach we can find the ancient lighthouse of Cabo Rojo. This beach is ideal for the sport of mountain biking. Although this... More

This is the most beautiful beach on the island. This beach is hidden and you have to walk a bit to get but worth the effort. This is after the Cabo Rojo Lighthouse and can not be reached by automobile. You have to park and then walk for several minutes. When you finally arrive you are greeted with fine white... More

Honestly I guess that those who wrote reviews about this beach have not seen too many beaches in their lives... The sand is covered in smelly sea weeds, and the water was very rough and murky... It smelled disgusting. We drove to Combate beach which is 5 minutes away and much better but the whole drive (2,5 hours from San... More
