I was in the area and wanted to further my freediving skills. Under the expert guidance of freedive gili I completed the level 3 freedive course and am now diving 40m+ . I had such a great time on gili trawangan, its very hard to leave. I will be back next year. Thanks to everyone for making this trip so... More

Freediving at freedive gili is one of the best things i have ever done! It's such an amazing and peaceful experience to dive in the wonderful blue ocean and explore the underwater world while holding the breath. The very experienced and super nice instructors made me feel very comfortable and safe in the water and they taught me how to... More

When I was planning my holiday to Bali, I desided to check Gili and do a level 3 course to improve my deep diving. What a great idea it was. I learned so much, and most important I still remeber it..!! :) Can't say those were my best diving days, at the begining I was fighting seasick, being hot or... More

I did my AIDA 3-star with Björn and had a great time. At Freediving Gili I managed to relax and at the same time learn a lot about the practice and theory of freediving, as part of a well-organized and serious course. Hanging at the end of the rope in the warm, clear water and seeing the coral moving in... More

freediving sounds cool and dangerous, but basically it is just cool and not dangerous at all, if you know how to do ity. To get the knowhow there is hardly a better place then this one. I am haveing a great time here currently doing lvl 3 course. Great place, great people and at last but far not at least... More

in my opinion, EVERYONE passing through gilis should do a freedive/yoga retreat with mike, kate and bjorn! i can`t say enough about these wonderful people and the haven they have created - their kind souls, youthful wisdom, positive energy, and world-class expertise...start off with level 1 freediving with bjorn who will surely inspire confidence and a few laughs :), top... Freediving is an incredible sport to try out, and careful, because u may get hooked on Level 1 and stay for another 6 weeks like I did, on the masters course. Nothing beats being in the blue, or having fish swim up to you (because there are no bubbles to scare them off), or the feeling of weightlessness. Achieved things... More

Exellent place to start your adventure with freediving. I did my first course in a different place but it was FreediveGili where I really learned how to do it proper and what is more how to fully enjoy it. I did my more advanced course with them and I DO recommend the place. I am addicted to this small island... More

We were in the Gilis just as Mike and his yoga teacher girlfriend Kate were opening up their freediving and yoga retreat. They were very welcoming and this helped us relax easily into the course and the breathing techiniques. We did the advanced course and Mike gave us lots of information and extra tips for techniques and skills. The gear... More

I spent 5 days in Gili T. I stumbled upon Gili Yoga on my first day, and bought a 3-class pass . I wish I bought a 5-class pass straight away. I went every evening and it was the most beautiful experience. Kate, the teacher, is really great. She incorporates all aspects of the spiritual development into the practice, and... More
