We booked an overpriced full fare one way ticket from padang bai to gili. When I saw on the passenger list that they all paid less than the regular 660’000 the guy said that they maid some prepayments to secure the booking which was his first lie. He asked me to book a return ticket but I told him that... More

Reviews had made us anxious as we had already purchaesed ticket. But our fears were allayed. Everything ran smoothly from initial pickup in Ubud to our return connections 2 days later. Boat was clean, life jackets visible and within reach, ad the staff were friendly and helpful. Despite a full boat they were amazingly well organised. More

Maybe something changed or maybe all the satisfied customers just expect what they got and don't write reviews. I believe in the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to writing reviews. These guys did not overload the boat, in fact there were empty seats both ways. The boat was clean and there were life jackets in a... More

I can't recommend this boat. First off, it was over an hour late. Seeing as I was 20 minutes, as the vendor who sold me my ticket recommended, I spent a lot time standing in the sun with all my luggage. The ticket prices for the boat varried widely. I paid 300,000 and heard some people say they paid as... More

The boat is fast and safe but if you buy a return ticket and the weather stops the boat there is no refund, the other outfits at least get you over to Lombok but you get nothing from Ekajaya. By one way only (loads of places to buy on Gili) and check before leaving Bali that they are running. They... More

Just same like the other fast boat company they had in lombok, they pick up early in the morning. Nothing much to say. More

When we wanted to leave Gili Air for Bali on Jan 27, we were being told that there had been no fast boats between Bali and the Gilis for a few days because of the high waves, and that it was not certain when the different services (not just Eka Jaya) would resume. Like other stranded travellers we decided to... More

My advice is to take another boat! My opinion is based on the following: - Boat was an hour late - No straight transfer to Bali (as promised), stopped at Lombok - Not the right safety precautions (lifevests, emergency exits, etc.) - Horrible smell of gasoline inside the boat - Captain was not able to cope with the "high" waves... Beware. We were told that our boat would go straight from Gili T to Padang bai at 10am. We paid our money, and went down at 10am the next day. We weren't called to boat until 11. It then took 30 minutes to get the bags on and off. Finally once we got on board there weren't enough seats and... More

If you don t have big exspectations, this company is totally allright! On the other hand it was my first travel to Gili, thus I don t have any other companys to compare. But as you see, I am still alive ;) But be careful not to get ripped off ( like you always do) But they picked us up... More
