We spent half a day wondering through the cobblestone streets, taking in the beautiful sights. With no real itinerary, we were free to go at a slow pace and just enjoy each others' company. The roads get steeper and quieter the higher you go. The bluffs are the perfect backdrop for a quick photo session with sweeping ocean vistas. Exploring... More

The Old town of Ibiza is part of a Unesco world heritage site, it is well preserved structure, but unfortunately so commercialized. With restaurants and shops all over. The small churches were a pleasant revelation, with old altars and beautiful icons. But the best part of the Alt Villa is the top, because from up there the view of the... More

Great disappointment. Looks wonderful, great architecture but when you get close it's a dump. Bank loan needed to purchase any food and then not fantastic. Massive drug problem in that area - it could be so nice, sad.

Low season means most of all is shut down. Hiked all the way up to the cathedral only for it to be closed, across from it is the information centre with very little info of Dalt Vila. It was however nice to meander through the quiet maize of the old city at this time of the year. If you're fast... More

Quaint little back streets lined with cafés restaurants and quirky shops make this place so special. Filled with the locals of Ibiza, D’alt Villa oozes Spanish charm and buzzes with Ibiza magic. The climb to the top is extremely tough in the height of summer but the view once you get to the top is well worth it. Every time... More

If you're looking for something with history and character then this is it, packed with small cobbled side streets with the occasional tiny shop, views of the Ibiza town and the shipping port, with friendly café/restaurants to stop off and take everything in. The only downfall for some is the very steep paths to get to the very top where... More

So much history at the Dalt Vila castle. Its a long walk up but the view of Ibiza is incredible. Try and go around 7pm so you can watch the sunset.

After crossing the small shops various restaurants and cafes, you can go to the upper peaceful side of town. The top of the hill is a perfect place for contemplation. Great view on the boats and the city itself. You get a new impression of the party city.

DAlt Vila, port, old town, little walking roads and paths sorrounded by a magical of little and old dors windows, large quantity of unique bars & restaurantes, lot of small stores to walk in. Incredible sights from above of this old town protected by UNESCO. Is a must to know it.
