We have been going to Ibiza town for nearly forty years now and it never loses its magic! So many changes have taken place over time on this beautiful Island but the Dalt Vila never changes! Unique in every way. We never tire of staying on this magical Island, with it's amazing beaches and friendly people. As long as we... More

No trip to Ibiza is complete without a visit to the Dalt Vila (High Town). Situated in the island's capital, Ibiza Town, the most impressive entrance is up the slope near the old market place. Cross the drawbridge through the great doors & into the colonnade of arches & on into the plaza which has many popular restaurants & boutiques.... More

Dalt Vila (Up Town) is the old town of the city of Eivissa (Ibiza) and it is located obviously in the center of the town. Here you can walk, relax and see the wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea from walls. In the Dalt Vila there are some point of interest like Mercat Vell (Old Market) or Portal de Ses... More

Walk all the way to the top and you'll experience gorgeous views of the port and Ibiza town. Rich in history, this walled city and castle host many adorable cafes and restaurants. A must-see if you are in Ibiza town. Festivals and parties occur in there during summer, so check listings to see if this applies to your trip!

Interesting construction of buildings and houses in this little village. Wonder how intrusive it may be for people living there as not just the neighbours, but tourists like us think of it as 'interesting' unless not many 'locals' live there. If in Ibiza should visit not seen anything like this anywhere else.

it is a good walk up to it on cobbled streets but the views from the top make the walk worthwhile, excellent views of the Port and surrounding areas. in my opinion a cafe or bar would have been a good idea ,there was one halfway up but it was closed. the Church at the top is closed between 1... Good for an afternoon walk, with tiny narrow streets. Great view from the top. You can get a small local mini taxi to get up to the top.

It is a must-go if you are in Ibiza for bit of history! The walk to the top can be a little challenging for some people, especially small children and the elderly but the view is worth it! You get a great view of Ibiza and the marina on a clear blue sky day. After having a look at the... More

I didn't really know what I was going to visit. I was told by someone that it was worth a visit and how right they were! The view from the top is amazing, I could have stayed all day. We went up on the Calessino, a little taxi type bike thing! That was an experience in itself. Then walked back... More

I prefer this place in the eve. Go to the centre, stroll a bit around the shops and go to the restaurant and have dinner and walk around. The old fortress is amazing and so it the view from the tip of the wall. It's also really beautiful to go to the marina and see the salt villa from a... More
