The old town of D'Alt Vila is so pretty with lots of little streets to wander around. There is a steep climb to the cathedral at the top and a spectacular view of the sea and the new town. I imagine it's beautiful on an evening when it's lit up as there are lots of restaurants.

It's lovely to wonder around this small streets of D'Alt Vila and look at the spectacular views of Ibiza Town. I visited it several times during my trip. I was surprised that there weren't more restaurants and shops. It's peaceful just to meander through the little narrow streets. There was a Jazz festival the nights I went and listening to... More

You're always going to spend time in the old town when you come to Ibiza, there's a number of great restaurants to visit so you're certainly going to experience the view. Would recommend you hang out here late evening - it's much prettier when everything's lit up.

I left my friends on the beach to go explore this site not knowing what to expect, and I'm so glad I did. I thought it was just a castle but its actually a whole little village, you could wander for hours and still not cover everything. It was a 10 min walk from Ibiza town to the base and... More

Great views from the top - great selection of restaurants/bars/little shops leading up to it. Definitely worth a visit.

Totally buzzing and great place to eat, shop and sightsee. Can be expensive in places though. However, take in the sights and sounds and enjoy yourself :-)

D' Alt Vila is a nice place to wander around. At the base of D' Alt Vila you have got lots of streets filled with shopping opportunities and loads of restaurants and bars to silence your stomach :-) Keep in mind the siesta times when most of the shops close is between 14:00 and 17:00!

Lots of (souvenir)shops, bars, restaurants in a nice 'old town' setting. Spectacular yachts in the harbour.

You really must visit the old town if you visit Ibiza, what a contrast from the resorts. It's a well deserved World Heritage Site and is wonderfully preserved. It is steep and fairly uneven in places though as you might expect for such a place, it's quite a hike to the top but the views are worth it. There's some... More
