It's a beautiful place to get lost and wander at any time of the day. The wiews are very impressive and will take your breath away, the turquoise sea, the marina and Formentera in the background are simply gorgeous.

Wonderful to stroll around the "high town". You can take the narrow streets, but there are also some tunnels to get you from one level to another. Out of season, most of the (not closed for works) to be visited monuments and museums are only open in the morning (cathedral : 10-13). You need half a day if you want... More

if you're in Ibiza town then a visit to the old town is a must, eerily quiet and very steep take a trip right to the top to visit the cathedral and admire the view.

I've spent a couple of days wandering around Dalt Vila - my friend lives there and I go out exploring while he's working. It's really amazing. The cobblestone streets are dangerous when wet, though, so be wary. The vistas of the islands are beautiful and the fortifications themselves are completely in-tact. It's a beautiful, interesting piece of history. Definitely worth... More

You can not visit Ibiza without walking through the historic castle walls of Dalt Vila. Packed with tons of island knowledge and interesting facts, Dalt Vila is great for all the family. Also you you won't be stuck for places to eat and shop within the walls. Enjoy

Visited in November when barely anyone was there. It was quite windy but beautiful, situated on top of a large hill on the sea. The quaint white buildings covered in greenery, with colored windows and doors are enchanting. Get lost in the tiny streets, take those stairs that you might not know where they lead, and circumnavigate the huge walls... More

D'Alt Vila was the very last stop on our Ibiza trip. In fact, thanks to the fact that we missed our bus to Ibiza Town, we only had about half an hour at D'Alt Vila. We spent that half an hour running up the fort, looking around, and running back down to catch our bus to the airport. Even though... More

Spend a full afternoon walking round the winding cobbled streets as you move from busy piazza's to quite back streets. It is worth making it all the way to the Cathedral at the top!

A place you should visit, but have to say not all it is cracked up to be . The walk up to the Cathedral is a killer. ... Be sure to have you're breakfast before climbing the hill

This fort commands a towering position above Ibiza Town. On entering through one of several gates a tough up & down walk awaits. We walked around the walls to all the bastions which have great views over the town and bay area. In the centre there are many narrow winding streets, stairways and tunnels to explore. There are also plenty... More
