This place is just indescribable – beautiful views, so peaceful and even if you’re not a believer – still magical. Will return every time we visit Ibiza :)

You glimpse the rock when driving to Cala D'hort. The drive through national park was stunning also. Ibiza is the most beautiful island. A real wow moment when walking onto the beach and seeing Es Vedra the first time. Would love to come for sunset.

Well worth a boat trip. Don't forget a hat, suncream and a bikini! The boats leave from Figaretes, Playa den Bosa and Ibiza town. They lap the rock stopping off for a bit of sight seeing, pointing out where the rich and famous live and a swim in the med.

On the way there, if you go the rightway. The rock is in the distance and looks huge. When up close it is a lot smaller. On account of electromagnetic forces, so I have been told. Nice beach & restaurants. Not a huge place.

Just to make it clear, my review is of Es Vedra, the rock- which you have to drive to, not Cala D'Hort, which is beach where the rock can be seen. It is definitely worth the drive to get a closer look at the rock- the view from the beach does not do it any justice! The actual rock is... More

Es Vedra is a very interesting geleogical formation that needs to be seen at least once when you visit Ibiza. The boat trips that lead you to Es Vedra, however, are a bit too expensive. It may be a better Idea to travel to Cala D'Hort which overlooks the rock and enjoy the view from there.

The beach Cala D'Hort is located in the municipality of Sant Josep and is one of the most famous and most photographed of Ibiza, since it is across the mysterious island of Es Vedra. There is a legend that says that millions of years ago, the entire island of Ibiza was a single mass. By separating the island of Es... More

A magic place and for sure one of the most scary too. Local fishermen told us that you do not know how deep the water is around the island... and guess what: we went with a boat and we could not measure the deepth around the island of Es Vedra. A magic place full of histories and fairytales.
