Hire a small boat from Frederico and take a tour to Atlantis and Es Vedra. The water and sand at Cala d'Hort is clear and soft and wasnt as busy as some of the other beaches in the south.

We started off at Calla D'Hort, but luckily we were with someone who knew where to get the best views - A short drive away, and a left turn at the recycling bins, we parked the car up and started a trek up the side of the mountain. Glad we didn't have flip-flops on! Was very hard work, and sweaty... More

We took a 25 Euro per person 3 hour trip to Es Vedra stopping off a few time on the way to visit various coves to see the sites and boats anchored up there. Upon arriving at the cove by Es Vedra there is a 30 minute stop for anyone who wants to to go for a swim (most of... More

To sit in a bar at Calla D'Hort and gaze on the ' mysterious ' isle of Es Vedra is something that lingers in the mind for a lifetime .

Stunning view def must visit. I know it sounds cliche but once youve been you will know why. Go around sunset or sunrise for the early birdy.

If you're visiting Ibiza, make sure you have this landmark on your list. It will not disappoint. We drove and then hiked up the mountainside that leads to Torre des Savinar for one of the most spectacular views you'll ever see. It will not disappoint. Just be prepared for a fairly physical adventure.

You must make the effort to walk up the track to take the best view! It is stunning, the water looks beautiful with this amazing rock formation and crystal clear water.

Not sure why but this Island in the Med has mystical powers. The aura as you sail by on the way to Formetera is increased when you notice the Spanish passengers stand in silence holding hands watching the island sail by. It was the same in the return. The reason we wanted to see Es Vedra was the connection with... More

We've heard about this mysterious little island from our friends, and we've found out that it is not allowed to actually visit it. There was an option of a three hour boat trip but my wife wasn't very keen on boat trips, so we decided to go to the point on the main island which is the closest to Es... More

No visit to Ibiza is complete without seeing this famous rock-formation. Said to give Ibiza it's magical healing powers & vibrant atmosphere, Es Vedra is perhaps known to many older visitors, as the inspiration for 'Bali Hai' , the mystical island in 'South Pacific' & was actually used in the famous film of that musical! In fact the beach at... More
