A visit to Ibiza must always include a visit to Es Vedra, a magical place, with a sunset that is all consuming in its beauty, with an array of reds and oranges, peppering the sky. I've visited Es Vedra any number of times, with my last visit in Sept 14. Each time is just as inspiring, the peace and sense... More

This was to be our main place to visit in Ibiza. A taxi from Sant Josep was about 18 euros. I felt a bit queasy on the undulating road. Alas, though it started with hazy sun, it was soon overcast with drizzle. The restaurant here is quite good and opens mid March. We were going to hike back over the... More

We took the boat (ferry) out to Es Vedra and came really close to it. It was just majestic and really beautiful. We got to see some of the famous goats even though it was daytime and really hot weather. This was the only place in Ibiza that took our breath away. Really worth seeing and coming close to. When... A breath-taking view on the cliff view in front of this gigantic rock emerging from the sea. It is said that Es Vedra has a magnetic field that attract pilgrims from all over for its calm and serene view. People go there to meditate so please respect them when you approach this view. After all we are all people with... More

In the south of the island. So worth to go there and enjoy the wonderful views of the big rock. This an important landmark.

The island is rumored to be the birthplace of Hercules. Currently only inhabited by goats and birds. A beautiful island to view. They do have boat trips out there to circle the island. Worth the visit and the view.
