Iglesia San Rafael is located in d'alt Villa and has the charm of typical southern Spanish churches. The church is located close to Museo Puget, the cathedral, the castle etc but you can easily miss it, so plan your visit carefully as to what you want to see in this part of town.

Not sure if the photo is correct - I see the cathedral from Dalt Vila there, but the Sant Rafel church is still one of my favourites - sit down on the bench and watch the town of Ibiza come alive at nighttime

Authentic as it only can be in Ibiza, the location just in the outskirts of the village. Lovely views fron the entrance of the church towards Ibiza town in the distance.

Worth the walk alone. Stunning views from the church area. Don't try this during the hottest parts as there isn't a lot of shade. Lovely to do just at sunset.

Just the fact that you have to go through the beautiful old town of Ibiza to get there is totally worth doing it...it is extremely charming. Ware comfortable shoes.

... "far from the maddening crowd"... Good view. Nice statue of San Rafael. The village is quiet and still rather "ibicenco". You can meet romantic or "spiritual" people there, sometimes...

A wonderful old church, and well worth a visit. Unusual because it has a statue of the Virgin Mary over the Altar rather than Jesus Christ, which is different from Catholic churches in Britain.
