The view from the castle is beautiful, there's no denying that, seeing over Ibiza old town, playa den bossa and as far as the airport runway seeing the planes land and the ships in the port. We were really let down by the castle being unkept, litter strewn, graffiti, and information plaques which were really old and we couldn't make... More

3 hours' walk up the winding stairs and paths of the old Castle - beautiful views throughout. Not too many touristy shops (thank goodness) but a number of great cafes to stop for a coffee or beer.

Great views in a great city. The Castle can be seen from Figueritas & Playa den Bossa & always gets the last of the Sunlight on this side of Ibiza

Incredibly beautiful fortress. In the evening enjoy beautiful views. Many restaurants open until late allow you to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Ibiza.

I expected more, the city has nice places specially restaurants, but nothing you couldn't get in south Portugal, France or Italy better and cheaper. Except the old town, the city has no particular allure. The buildings are very 80's. Outside the village near the beaches you can go the the best discos and hotels. If you come for beach and... More

Ibiza town has numerous shops, bars, restaurants for all ages. You walk into the castle from the shopping area up a cobbled slope. I suffer from arthritis in most joints, I managed to walk up & around albeit slowly. The actual castle has shops, bars and restaurant and some residential properties all part of the castle. Well worth a look.
