Brilliant day out - lovely places to visit - not your usual 'duff' places with nothing more than a taverna. The capital of Ithaca was lovely, with gorgeous bakeries. and the bays for swimming were perfect.

Just returned from a trip to Ithaka, with Captain Vangelis' cruises. The price was very reasonable, 35 euros per adult, 20 for children 4-12. Booking was easy and although our original cruise was cancelled due to bad weather, the helpful lady rebooked us no problem. The trip left on time 0900 right from Scala beach and returned there at 16.30....

Just returned from 2 weeks in Scala and did 2 of Captain Vangeli's cruises. As it was nearing the end of the season, the price had been reduced from 35 euros per person to 30. Also, if you do more than one cruise, you get a 15% discount.
We did the Ithaca and the Fiskardo cruises. The boat leaves from...

Had a lovely trip up the coast from Skala stopping in a couple of secluded bays for a swim and dive off the boat which was very picturesque. Had lunch in Fiskardo which is a beautiful fishing village and full of millionaires' yachts. Loads of photo opportunities here. Also went to the Melissani caves (for an extra €6) which I...

We did two of the tours on offer, Ithaca and Zante, and had a fantastic time on both - the Ithaca one was probably our favourite as it really is a beautiful island and we enjoyed the land parts of the trip more than Zante, but the coastline of Zante is beautiful and must be seen by boat to be...

We did Fiscardo and Ithaca trips. Both were from 9am to 4.30pm, 2 swim stops each. Fiscardo - visited Mellisani caves as well.
Ithaca - this is a beautiful island, definitely the best of the two trips, and fun to watch the goats clinging to the cliffs. The crew were a good laugh and it was both an adventure and...

These cruises are amazing. Superbly organised, on the dot departures. The swim stops are fantastic, probably the best beaches on the Islands. We did Kefalonia and had to go back for more and did the Ithaka trip. Both are a must, but I think the swim stops on Ithaka just pipped it! Plus 15% discount on the 2nd trip too....

Great value (cheaper than Thomas cook), very friendly staff, great experience and loved the swim stops. Went on two cruises, fiscardo and the zante cruise. The fiscardo cruise was amazing, well worth the trip, and get to see the amazing kefalonian scenery. Didn't enjoy the zante trip as much, only because the sea was rough which made the journey unpleasant...

Captain Vangelis cruises are a must. They depart from Skala at about 9 o'clock. The prices are very reasonable. 35 euros an adult and 20 a child. But if you book with them again you recieve 15% off. The boat is lovely and is complete with a water slide, bar and diving platform and a glass bottom. Perfect for seeing...

We used Captain Vangeli's having read the reports on Trip Advisor. We did 2 trips, Ithika and Fiscardo.
Ithika is a must. The island is beautiful and you also have a couple of swim stops thrown in. It was cheaper by 20 euros than that offered by Thopmsons and you leave from the beach at Skala, no coach travel. You...
