For a public beach, this place is amazingly well-maintained. The water is clear and the beach is clean. One cool thing are the colorful fishes that stay near the shore and swim around you while you take a dip in the water. Didn't try cliff jumping cos i was scared but the others who did looked like they were having... More

A 45 minute ride from the Port lies Salgdoong Beach. If it weren't for the huts by the beach and the available rooms near by, I would have thought that this was a virgin beach. As most beaches in the area, it was rocky but swimming becomes enjoyable in the deeper areas. Water was very clear and you could find... More

Cliff jumping was one of those things I will remember. Great fun and a bit of adrenalin. Afterwards, I've spent some time at the beach swimming in the crystal clear water and had a lunch in the nearby restaurant. Definitely, a place worth visiting.

The sun was almost setting into its horizon when we arrived at the beach after a day tour of the island yet the place never fail to impress us and removed all the stress in a jam packed day tour of the island. Surely Siquijor is blessed with a plethora of compellingly beautiful beaches and this is one is one... More

Salagdoong Beach is Siquijor's famous beach located in the town of Maria, its five kilometer ride from the highway. Before reaching the beach you'll passed by those human made forest. Salagdoong Beach is a government owned resort that is famous for its postcard worthy landscape, floating rock formations, fine white sand, cliff diving and slides facing Pacific Ocean. As I... More

Salagdoong beach is located at the municipality of Maria, Province of Siquijor. About 45 minutes from Siquijor port. Going to the Salagdoong Resort, you will pass by a Molave Tree Forest. The resort is quite big. It has a restaurant, hotel, cottages, and two beaches. The bigger and deeper beach has "stairs" going into the waters. There is also a... More

The pics looked nice but when you arrive, you have to pay an entrance fee. The pics showed some nice slides into to sea so we payed the fee and went for it. Then you are in, and notice nobody is going off the slides. When goign up, we saw why. Both slides are broken. In fact, the whole resort... More

Beach is just a short stretch. Main attraction would be the cliff jump which has 2 levels: around 10.5 meters high and 13 meters high. Get a rush and the feeling of having your insides turned upside down as you jump off the ledge into the beautiful clear waters below.
