An enterprising young man trying his best to make a go in life, he was very knowledgeable regarding the subject and developing the sanctuary. Wish him all the best 😊

We were brought here during an island tour. we arrived and payed the entrance fee, we immediately got a guide who told us in a funny way about the life of a butterfly from caterpillar to butterfly. Here you see a lot of preserved butterflies and moths. After that you come in the little butterfly garden!! There were only few... More

Beautiful butterfly sanctuary in the hills of Siquijor. I drove up from Cambugayah falls and it was signposted on the right hand side of the road. Dante, the creator, was onsite and gave me a personal tour detailing all the butterflies, caterpillars and all their corresponding flora. Great experience. Could then enjoy the great drive west over the island through... More

We were on the scooter driving around the island and we saw the sign of the sanctuary. The owner is friendly and knows a lot about the butterfly's and caterpillars. We saw many and also really big ones.

We passed by to this fascinating place. The owner Dante welcomed us and gave us a tour to the sanctuary. Unfortunately, there's not much bigger butterflies but knowing the history how it begun. The passionate owner took his effort to continue moulding ecological preservation and sustainability which is a remarkable achievement for Dante. He needs our support and his intention... More

Nothing special here but ome nice butterflies on a specific garden created by a local farmer. The road to go there is beautiful through the mountains of central Siquijor. A little bit pricy for the local standards, but the money you will spend there can help the farmer to develop his own project.

This is a nice sanctuary and even when it's hard to find it's worth looking for it. A nice so far little sanctuary with beautiful butterflies. The owner tries hard and explains a lot which is very nice. Only bad thing for me was that I already put money in the donation box to then have to hear that it's... More

Went there and expected something great. Instead we were practically robbed with the 50Php entrance fee just to see a sanctuary that's the size of small room. Really not worth going out of your way to see it

It's very scant. The owner is trying to provide something both for the tourists and for ecological reasons. Don't expect too much. Have a beer with him in his cafe.

Visited the butterfly sanctuary this week. The area is currently fairly small but the owner plans to expand by December of this year as he already is cultivating the needed plants. There were not a huge variety of kinds of butterflies but there were quite a few of the ones he does have. Took a number of great photos as... More
