This is a spectacular mountain face and just off the road making it the ideal picture post card shot. Unfortunately pictures would never reflect the true beauty of this sight.

Nice rock formation which glows at dusk. You can go on a hill in the center of Purmamarca, pay 5 ARS and enjoy the view. Definitely something to do when here.

Thought it was very pretty driving through this area, plenty to see. So I just took a fee pictures then kept going.

A must to travel to the north of Salta. The scenery is stupendous and the hill of seven colours fabulous as is the surrounding scenery.

Yes, it's touristy, but that doesn't make it any less beautiful. Go at different times of the day to see ho the changing light affects the colors. You have to pay a few pesos to climb the viewing hill that offers the best photo op. It's worth it, but go early in the morning or close to sunset for fewer... More

This is an incredible view. While you can pay a small fee to hike to the top of a hill to see the rocks..the best view is as you enter the town from the south. You will know where to stop for your photo because that is where all the souvenir stands are located!

about an hour walk, you go around the Hill of Seven Colors. Amazing walk to do with or without children. Bring your camera!

Absolutely stunning, especially in sunlight. The colours are more vibrant than photographs can portray. An easily accessible viewpoint overlooking the hill is reached by crossing the almost dry (at least in October!) river bed to the east of the town and following a ziz-zag path past an adobe house. The viewpoint is an ideal spot for sunrise photography.

The scenery rivals that in Arizona and Utah and the hills and cliffs were quite beautiful if not spectacular. The colours were good and variable but the trip down from the Andes overall was very good and worthwhile doing.

We arrived in late afternoon after more than 12 hours of car,. It was a great walk and the kids could run around in total security. The colors are spectacular.
