especially the walk around it is nice as you get away from Purmamarca and are left with an awesome landscape. Walk starts just left of "town"....you cannot miss it!

The Hill is attractive from a distance, but it is magnificent when seen up close. Do not miss the 4 kilometer walk that takes your very close to the hill and all the way around the town.

If you are not tired to death by the end of the day, I strongly recommend a walk around the hills around sunset. Or if you're an early-morning type of person, the colours are also amazing during sunrise.

The hill is best seen in the morning or in the late afternoon , the colours change with the light of the sun . You won't regret waiting a little bit for the right moment , it's certainly worth the effort .

El Cierro de Siete Colores is a very beautiful mountain which as the name reveals has 7 different colors. There is a spot in the center of the village from where you have a great view. The whole area around Purmamarca is very nice and you can do small hikes and enjoy the colorful surroundings.... Absolutely worth a visit.....:-)

This is a really peaceful village with not much to see apart from the coloured hills, but in my opinion it largely beats some of the more touristy attractions. To get the best view of the hills, you have to take a small path that isnt very well marked, but you can get some info at the tourist information center.... More

Great erosion landscape showing many different colors. Worth while looking at in the morning and in the evening before sunset.
