We had a very pleasant day outing on the ETNA. We were a group of 6, and our guide was Alfio. He did the whole tour in two languages, without problem. He took us to many different parts of the mountain, taking time to explain the volcanic origins of each part. All in all, it was a very relaxing day,... More

The tour of Mt Etna was one of highlights of our trip to Sicily. Our tour guide Alfio was the biggest part of that wonderful experience! Very friendly and outgoing, he was also exceptionally knowledgeable, courteous and professional! He picked us up at the hotel at exact time the tour was scheduled. His 4WD was very nice and comfortable. He... More

We booked a day tour of Mt Etna with 4WD as shore excursion off a cruise. We had a fabulous day with Alfio. We started out doing the normal Etna things and then went to a vineyard for a wine tasting/lunch which was a highlight of the day. After that Alfio took us through his home town where we stopped... We thoroughly enjoyed our Etna tour with Francesco as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and was excited to explain the history of this amazing volcano. We drove through lovely wooded areas and explored a cave pocket. He also pointed out different tree and plant species. We were very glad that we did not miss this! Highly recommend

This isn’t the cheapest way to see Etna – but it is quite the best. We spent the day travelling in the luxury of a new Range Rover across terrain that just couldn’t be accessed by any other form of transport. Our guide and driver was local, friendly and knowledgeable. The guided walk up some of the many extinct cones... More

We booked a day trip with Francesco to see Mount Etna and have lunch at a local vineyard with wine tasting. The day was superb with Francesco being a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. My wife and I, along with our 3 sons (19, 16 and 15) thoroughly enjoyed the day and would highly recommend this.
