If you go there just for the falls,it's not really worth it. You have to visit the beaches in Moalboal or even go to Oslob and watch the whalesharks first before heading for kawasan. then,it's going to be a worthwhile trip. The falls is beautiful, water is really cool and you will find it very refreshing after a dip in the pool.overall,it's... Its a long way to drive from the city to see water falls, but if your staying on that side of the island its pretty cool. There will be "guides" to show you the way, but you really dont need them at all...unless you want someone to carry stuff for you. What many people do is bring in thier own... More

The walk up the river to the falls is great (you defintiely don't need a guide), and the falls themselves are great with a lovely blue lagoon for swimming. Only downside is that the guesthouse/restaurant building takes up the whole shore and they charge a hefty sum just for the luxury of sitting at a table, before you even order... More

We took a tricycle from Moalboal and he waited in the car park (50pesos) parking fee. then a guide takes you on the walk to the fall taking pictures for you, The falls are in a beautiful setting. Drinks at the bar are cheap but sit at a table is 300pesos (ouch)

We visited the falls for the first time last april 7, 2014. It took us 3.5 hours drive to arrive at the badian church (entrance to the falls) from cebu city proper. We walked for 1 kilometer to arrive at the 1st falls. The sight was breathtaking. There's so many tourist by that time so we head-off to the 2nd... More

Visit also the highest falls if you can. The Kawasan Falls are situated in a nature reserve and it is a nice walk up the mountain along the river and waterfalls.

We took a 2-person tricycle to Kawasan Falls from Moalboal. Cost us 700pesos round trip and a 50peso parking fee for the tricycle that waits for you. We didnt know we had to pay for parking! If you stay in Moalboal, you can actually rent a bike and make your own way there. It's just a straight road and you... More

I must say, Kawasan falls saved our day trip to Moalboal! We ended up in Basdaku Beach where there wasn't really anything to do. So we just asked around and hopped on a 7 person tricycle which took almost an hour to take us to Kawasan Falls. It's pretty much commercialized where you pay for every move you make, it... More
