Took the day trip on Marlin Catamaran out to Cayo Blanco, which included a visit to pet the dolphins and snorkeling and finally being fed and enjoying an absolutely beautiful beach on Cayo Blanco. They kept us there for 3.5 hours of absolute heaven, the sand, water and whole experience was awesome. you can wade out in the water for... More

We took the Catamaran tour out to this island. The whole tour included a short stop to snorkel, a visit at a dolphin enclosure and lunch on the island. First of all I didn't really enjoy the snorkelling it was short, there were too many people in the water and there really wasn't much to see. The dolphin enclosure was... More

I went to Cayo Blanco with the Catamaran experience. I was extremely disappointed with the beach. I went on this excursion primarily for the white sand beach and turquoise water but could not believe the amount of seaweed on the beach. It had an acrid odour and it was necessary to "wade" through the seaweed to get to the ocean.... More

Nice island and nice katamaran sail to reach it. Snorkeling during the sail was not so good, because there was not much to see under the water, some fish but nothing special. Cayo Blanco was nice, but so over loaded with tourist. Some nice cuban rats (hoodia or something ?) under the restaurant and had fun feeding them. Sand is... More

We decided to take a full day tour with catamaran to Cayo Blanco. Really nothing special, bad service, awful food, dirty beaches. Typical tourist trap that will attract anyone with wonderful pictures and promises. Not worth doing it, as beach in Varadero was much nicer.

During our one week stay at the Iberostar Laguna Azul, from Feb 7th to Feb 14th 2014, my wife and I booked through our Sunwing representative this Sunwing excursion. It was on Monday Feb the 10th on the famous sun cruise catamaran excursion with Crucero Del Sol. An amazing day starting at 8:40 am with a shuttle transfer from our... More

Clean, white, soft sand. Food and drinks available once you arrive. Washrooms also on site. Small souvenir hut on site, good prices.

We went to Cayo blanco on a Catamaran on an all inclusive expedition from Varadero and I absolutely LOVED it. You get to eat lobster tail, shrimps and burgers, dance, play games and drink while enjoying a beautiful white sand beach. A Must do in Cuba.

I am still raving about this beach. The sand feels like you are walking on baby powder is so fine and white! Beautiful turquoise water! This was part of our catamaran excursion. Definitely a must see!!
