When staying at Varadero, this is a 'must do' trip on the catamaran. We did the snorkelling rather than the dolphin, but it was great - very entertaining, good food and great value for money.

We booked this excursion through our tour rep. We have been on trips like this before and loved it and I was really looking forward to a relaxing day enjoying the sunshine and a pleasant boat journey. Sadly I was left very disappointed. Firstly the bus transfer picking us up was over 20 minutes late with no explanation or apology... More

This was our 2nd trip to Cayo Blanco and in 6 years, not so much has changed. The catamaran ride is always enjoyable, crew are excellent and drinks are generous. The boats are clean, safe, reliable and good vibe music. Cayo Blanco is a beautiful beach when looked after, but this trip was anything but. As soon as we docked,... More

We took a catamaran excursion that took us for a few hours on this virgin beach. It is unreal. The beauty and the calm of the beach are a gem to any beach bum like me. The powder white sand seems to never end. Its of a pure white and powder that its difficult to get all the sand off... More

I went on this trip because the good reviews and enthusiasm of the Sunwing Rep at our resort. The catamaran was nice, good staff, but it was packed. The snorkelling was bad, grey dead reef, old tire in the water. They whistled at us every time we were 15 feet from the back of the boat which was super annoying.... More

The boat journey was fantastic, lovely weather and a decent bunch of people on-board. The crew are very safety conscious and our guide was hilarious. The snorkelling was a bit dodgy as the under current was strong. The visit to Cayo Blanco was great where you can chill out on the perfect sandy beach and cool down in the sea.... More

We booked this day long catamaran trip with Crucero del Sol through our Air Canada rep and loved it! Stopped to snorkel then continued to Cayo Blanco. WOW!!! A beautiful island with powdery white sand and crystal clear water. Nice lunch buffet with lobster and many hot and cold dishes. Lots of time to swim and explore the long beach.... More

This beach has white sand & the buffet has great food. Many options & the sand does not get hot from the sun.

Totally enjoyed this catamaran excursion..First time on a catamaran, First the bus picks you up at your resort and brings you to the marina where you board a catamaran with about 50 people per boat, there are quite a few boats. I sat on the nets for awhile but really enjoyed sitting by the side with my legs hanging over... More

Varadero itself is a vacation masterpiece and Cayo Blanco, just a few miles off the southern coast, is the icing of the cake. Take a Catamaran at Marina Gaviota, swim with the dolphins in the sea and finish this paradise-like experience with a seafood lunch at Cayo Blanco. You will thank me!
