Totally enjoyed this catamaran excursion..First time on a catamaran, First the bus picks you up at your resort and brings you to the marina where you board a catamaran with about 50 people per boat, there are quite a few boats. I sat on the nets for awhile but really enjoyed sitting by the side with my legs hanging over... More

Varadero itself is a vacation masterpiece and Cayo Blanco, just a few miles off the southern coast, is the icing of the cake. Take a Catamaran at Marina Gaviota, swim with the dolphins in the sea and finish this paradise-like experience with a seafood lunch at Cayo Blanco. You will thank me!

Took the day trip excursion, stopped to swim with dolphins then continued to Cayo blanco beach. My husband lost his wedding ring in the water and unfortunately we didn't have time to find it :( if by crazy chance anyone reading this found it I do check the reviews regularly for a post regarding it. Cash reward!!

This is a must do excursion when in Varadero The bus picks you up early from your hotel and takes you to the marina where you get on a Catamaran and head out for the day. There were drinks on board (included in the price) we went to the dolphins first and we were divided up into groups where we... More

We booked this day trip at the tour office of our hotel. There were 2 options 75cuc per person for a day trip to the island or 109cuc if you wanted to include a dolphin encounter. This is a very good price if you have never seen or touched dolphins before. We had done dolphins a couple of times before so... More

It was nice experience. On our way to the island we stopped for snorkelling. Cayo Blanco is a breath takings island with white sand. Music is a little to loud. Food was ok. We paid 75 cuc with no dolphins. Highly recommend it.

I have been to Cayo Blanco twice and I can honestly say that they were 2 of the best days of my life. The last time I was there (March 29, 2015) I just walked all the way to the end. We saw so many beautiful sea creatures. The catamaran ride there and back was just so much fun. The... More

The title of my review says it all. We've been very fortunate to have been to some of the nicest beaches in the world. This is certainly near the top, if not # 1. Absolutely amazing water colour. And the sand is perfect. Walked down the beach about 20 minutes and it only got better. Just beautiful. They've now made... More

We booked through Cubatur in Trinidad for this day trip. It left quite late from the marina, but you get used to what the locals call 'Cuba time' while you're there. We had a trip on a catamaran and then arrived at the island where they gave us snorkelling gear and sent us on our way. Our boat was the... More

We spent the afternoon there as part of our Seatour excursion. The soft white sand and the calm waters were exactly what we thought Varadero was all about. The tour included a bbq lunch which was good but was very slow as guests/boats started to arrive in droves. With a limited number of bbqs and chefs, the line moved in... More
