We went here just for the day, was nice to have a walk around, there was a nice older part which was nice to see, beaches looked nice tho we didn't go on them this time. Used to be a zoo there but it was all closed up.

If you are once in Fuerteventura you MUST visit Jandia National Park and Beach - it's simply amazing. The water is crystal clear, the amazing scenery and amazing feeling afterwards.

This Beach was just beautiful, well apart from the nudists anyway! there was what felt like a very local town of shops, a very small strip witch was nice, loads of tasteful art all along the prominard.

Good shops and cafes. good bus service from costa calma. less than 3 euros each way meant it was quite cheap to travel on the island. certainly more life here and the beaches are stunning, but with a strong wind you will need a wind break

Loved the designer shops and the haggling - lots of other tourist type shops including fridge magnets etc,, you know what I mean. Good shopping area though with no pressure or nagging to buy.

A beautiful golden stretch of sand, with lots of hotels and appartments to accomodate the many german tourists. So the cafes do great apple cake! Fantastic beaches, with parasols and beach facilities available. Very laid back about bare bodies too. Morro Jable, nearby, is worth a look.

5 degrees hotter than the rest of the island, take a hat. Market ok, same same but different! Expensive restaurants as catered for the German market and their economy is better than ours and the Spanish know it!!!!

Some of the beaches are miles long - beat any Caribbean beaches by far; you have to see these to believe them.... go to Cofete... WOW.... or stop anywhere in Jandia on these beaches and you will be amazed - a true surfers' paradise, golden sands, crystal clear waters, clean - spotless... I am speechless

We visited the Jandia playa for the day during our recent holiday in Fuerteventura, and may well base ourselves in this resort on our next trip to the island. The temperature was about five degrees higher here than in the North of the island, so nearly thirty in February can't be bad. Amazing white beaches as far as the eye... More
