Greek style

If you want to see the Greek life style you have to go and sit at the Spianada and watch the people pickniking, the children playing and the youngsters playhing foot. Amazing.

Lovely location, we chose to eat early evening after reading reviews on trip advisor. Menu was ordinary, no real selection so we chose a Greek salad and pizza pepperoni with half carafe on wine. The waiter had nothing about him, when the salad arrived in was piled on a side plate with no dressing! The pizza arrived - bland would... More

SPIANADA PARK AREA borders the famous LISTON and OLD FORT. Bus 2 rus for 1,50 to MON REPOS and KANONI The green area is clean and well kept although some buildings could do with some maintenance. Nearby is spacious ALEXANDRAS AVENUE with its old villas. The avenue end at busy and commercial SAN ROCCO SQUARE were the blue bus station... More

Competition for diners is fierce close to Liston So you would think extra effort would be made. Frustratingly we visited this restruant 4 times and were greeted with enthusiasm each visit but failed to get any Greek or Corfuit food although it was advertised on a chalk board and in the menu. The food we ate both pizza and pasta... More

Nice for a relaxing walk round and sit on a bench for a rest, shade from the sun during the day, kept clean and tidy most of the time.

In this part of town, there are many options within 2 minutes walk, but we were certainly not disappointed we chose Spianada. The menu is varied and reasonably priced, the hardest thing was knowing what to choose! I had Spaghetti Bolognese which was tasty and a very healthy portion. My companions had Greek salads and some meze dishes, and we... More

Not so much an 'attraction' as a few key streets and grassy area. A core part of Corfu town, lovely to visit and differentiates it from other Greek towns.

This is a grassy park in the middle of Corfu town. Nice for a break - could have a picnic or play some football. Lined with outdoor cafes along one side. There is some parking (although we recommend parking at the old port). When we were there a concert was going on at one end of the park.
